"Oh shit," I mumbled under my breath.

"Wait, what's going on here?" Sapnap asked as he looked at me and then at Dream.

"We brought back the ambassador to L'Manberg unknowingly. Better question, why did you help us by saying you saw people last night?"

I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out.

"It's okay, I'd love to hear this one," Dream said, crossing his arms.

I looked at Sapnap; his face was sad, and he looked hurt.

Fuck me.

I looked back at Dream and tried again; this time, the words began to flow.

"You're right, I am the ambassador to L'Manberg. Yesterday, some scouts spotted your camp, and Wilbur sent me to find out what you guys were up to. When I fell out of the bushes, I panicked and didn't know what to do. When Sapnap and I went to get my horse, and she wasn't there anymore, I knew she would go home, and the troops would come looking. I don't want people to get hurt; I just want us to get along."

"So you helped the enemy?" The mystery man asked.

"Leave her alone, Punz," Dream said before returning to me. "What will Wilbur do when he thinks you've been kidnapped?" he asked me.

"Wilbur doesn't even know where you guys live right now. We have the castle mapped, but last time we went, it looked abandoned." Dream nodded as I continued. "Wilbur also won't waste the manpower to come find me. I'm that place's best fighter, so there's no use in them looking for me."

I turned back to Sapnap, who looked at me with a slight grin.

"I hate to break it to you, ambassador, but I think you just became a hostage... unless you're willing to help us," Punz said with a grin.

"Help you with what?" I asked, looking at him.

"Plan an attack on your friends. You can get in and out of L'Manberg easily, so you can help out, and once we're in, we can show you some mercy."

"Why would I ever do that?" I asked, looking between Punz and Dream.

"I think you should be questioning where your loyalty lies right now," Dream said as he walked closer to me.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, confused.

"That bracelet on your wrist, where'd you get it from?" Punz asked, flipping through a book.

"It's the last thing I have of my parents; Wilbur told me they were killed by soldiers on your side when I was just a baby."

"Why would we kill our own people?" Dream asked, a grin planted on his face.

"Wait, what?" I said as I felt all the air leave my lungs.
