It's been two weeks since I found out about Flash's break-up. Since then, we've spent a lot of time together, and every moment with him has been magical. We came second in the watch competition, but the real victory was that weekend where we laughed more than anything else.

Now I found myself at the party at Applejack's Candy Apple Ranch, which was just getting started. The tables were covered with checkered tablecloths and filled with delicious homemade food: apple pies, fresh breads, assorted salads and a huge platter of sweets. The atmosphere was simple and very intimate.

I chatted with Applejack near the drinks table, where jugs of lemonade and iced tea were constantly being refilled.

- Applejack, the ranch looks amazing! And this food... everything looks wonderful.

- Thank you, Twilight! I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Further on, I saw Fluttershy and Pinkie busy putting up the last of the decorations while Rarity helped organize the cutlery and plates. Applejack's brothers were there too. Big Mclntosh, the older brother, was adjusting the mechanical bull that would be the main attraction. Apple Bloom, Applejack's younger sister, was running around the ranch with her friends Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo.

Suddenly, Rainbow appeared, visibly annoyed, heading straight for Applejack. I can see why - Why did you invite Soarin?

Before Applejack could answer, I jumped in - Actually, Flash called him. They're best friends, remember?

- Twilight, I love you, but why, woman? - Rainbow looked at me indignantly

My face heats up a little, I feel a little embarrassed.

- Well, Flash is still a bit sad about the break-up... So I decided to invite him. And Applejack allowed him to bring someone, so...

- It's been three weeks, he's had time to recover - Rainbow cuts me off, impatient.

Applejack takes the opportunity to tease her, these two have no way.

- Just like the almost three months you've had to get over your fight with Soarin'- she emphasized the three months, a teasing smile on her freckled face.

Rainbow rolled her eyes and walked away, visibly angry. I looked at Applejack, realizing something.

Applejack shrugs his shoulders, somewhat indifferently - Yes, but that's something for Rainbow to tell you. If I tell you, she'll cut out my tongue.

I watch Rainbow walk away, curiosity growing inside me. I knew that, eventually, I would ask. Maybe later.

Meanwhile, Big Mclntosh finishes adjusting the mechanical bull, he smiles satisfied with his work.

- Who wants to be the first to try to tame the bull? - he asked, looking at the girls who were closest to him.

- I think this is going to be harder than it looks! - Pinkie exclaimed, climbing onto the bull.

Fluttershy, next to her, looked at the mechanical bull with trepidation - Maybe I'll try later?

Apple Bloom and her friends ran to where the mechanical bull was, eager to see someone fall off.

- Let's see who can stay on the longest! - shouts Sweetie Belle.

- Of course I'll beat you two, - Scootaloo said, crossing her arms and smiling.

- No way! I will, - replies Apple Bloom, smiling confidently, the same smile as her sister.
