🌠Twilight🌠

I walk calmly through the hallways next to Pinkie and Rarity. I laugh with Pinkie about a comment Rarity made about class, as if we've known each other for months. It's still strange; it's only my first week with them and I already feel at home. My stomach grumbles softly, I'm finally going to eat something. Breakfast with my brother can be summed up as burnt eggs, how, I can't even explain.

We were about to turn the corner when my eyes widened, and I stopped in my tracks. A click went off in my brain; in the rush to leave during the break, I forgot to grab my notebook. I'll blame my hunger for my memory lapse today.

- Is everything alright, dear?" Rarity turns to look at me. I must have startled them by stopping so suddenly.

- Yes, it's fine. I just forgot my notebook in the classroom - I reassured them.

Rarity theatrically places her hand on her chest in relief.

- I think the classroom is still open, Twili - Pinkie appears at my side with her wide smile - Want to take a look?

I shake my head as I turn in the opposite direction.

- Alright! Want us to wait for you in the cafeteria?- Rarity asks as I walk away. I agree to meet them there, already disappearing from their sight.I started jogging to the classroom; it didn't seem so far before. The hallways were already empty, with just a few students still organizing their lockers. I felt relieved when I reached the classroom; it was slightly ajar, perfect. I open the door, but before I can step in, I end up hitting someone with it. "Oh, crap!" I muttered, I hit them square on. I slowly peek from behind the door, my cheeks tingling with the heat rising to my face.

What I find is a boy with blue hair, two shades to be exact, with dark blue roots transitioning to lighter blue tips. He was handsome, especially with that gentle smile lighting up his face. Wait, what?

- Oh... Sorry! - I said, feeling my face burn even more. He, at least, seemed relaxed, as if nothing had happened. I extended my hand to help him up.

- No problem - he smiled slightly, letting go of my hand. Now standing, I noticed he was a few centimeters taller than me. I smiled back, my face returning to its normal temperature. Looking at the boy, I saw he had something in one of his arms. I smiled more when I realized what it was.

- Oh, you got it? - I asked, indicating the notebook in his possession.

The blue-eyed boy looked at me confused until he quickly followed my gaze and put the pieces together - So, you're the owner? - he asked, handing me the notebook, which I gratefully accepted, nodding in response.

His smile remained warm between his golden cheeks. He continued - I was taking it to the principal's office. But since the owner has already appeared...

- Thanks - I hugged the notebook to my chest. A wave of relief washed over me for having it back - I'll pay more attention next time.

He chuckled softly, leaning against the open door frame - It happens to everyone. But at least now you have it back.

- Yes... Oh, I'm Twilight, by the way - I quickly introduced myself, extending my hand to him again, this time to greet him.

- Flash - he replied, moving away from the door frame. His handshake was firm, and I noticed now his hand was very soft, without calluses - A huge pleasure to meet you, Twilight.
