The Great Release

It was the day! My year was up! Liam and I packed up our stuff and we left.

Unfortunately, my family didn't care about me anymore so Liam took me in. His family was something I'd never experienced before. They disregarded our mistakes and showed love to me. I especially loved having a dad. I had grown up without a dad.

He was an alcoholic and very abusive. My mom had him arrested for domestic abuse and we moved.

Liam's dad was a great father to me. He was not only a disciplinary man, he was a friend. When you felt down he always knew what to do. I loved it there.

Since we had missed a year of school, they homeschooled us. It was very difficult but we finally finished high school!
