College life.

It was time. I had to choose a career.

I had talked to Liam and he was also interested in Musical Theater.

We looked at all the possibilities. We both decided on The Juliard School Of Performing Arts.

We made the move from California to New York City. Liam and I rented a two room apartment. It was small but an amazing view.

The classes were very difficult physically and emotionally. We had to take Theatre History and multiple dance classes. We had to pick up double shifts at our jobs to pay for our clothing and food. The jobs were both restaurants that paid minimum wage. It was insanely difficult but it was worth it. It was very hard being away from my best friends family for so long but I had some great experiences! I had an amazing professor named Professor Berkeley or as we called him, Professor B. He was very motivating. He found out my story and showed extra care for me. He would always say "Shawn, never let your past pull you back. Instead put all of your anger into every single performance you make. Always make it your show. Never let anyone steal your power. That will get you to the top!"
