Chapter 8
Mia<3

It's now been two months since Mia and Megan have known each other and their bond has grown even stronger and more meaningful, solidifying their friendship into something special.

They've had multiple sleepovers at each others houses, went out on little friendship dates, when out to eat with each others mothers, and even have went horseback riding together.

To say they enjoyed each other's company has been an understatement; their time together was filled with laughter, shared experiences, and a deep sense of camaraderie that only grew stronger each passing day.

Now as they are laying on the bed, watching Netflix and cuddling each other, it's felt like they've known each other forever. It's like they're creating a sense of understanding for each other.

"Pretty girl?" Mia mumbled out as her head was laying on Megan's stomach with her arms around her waist.

Megan's stomach did somersaults as she heard that name. Mia had been calling her that name for a while now and every time she does, Megan just can't get enough of it.

"Yes mama?" She responded, looking down at the girl who occupied her stomach. She enjoyed the affectionate nicknames they've gave each other.

It's like the exchange between them has shifted to something more.

"Do you want to go get chick-fil-a?" Mia mumbled out as she played with Megan's belly ring. She kept flicking the jewelry piece as she waited for an answer.

"Sure yeah we can." Megan spoke making Mia grin from ear to ear at the prospect of the plan they made and were about to enjoy together.

Mia got up off of her stomach as she put her shorts back over her SpongeBob boxers as Megan still laid on the bed, just watching her.

The tension between them was shifting, and Megan knew it. Their unspoken words and exchanged glances hinted at a change in their relationship that neither could ignore.

Mia had a feeling towards her too but never brought it up, thinking it would ruin the friendship they created on the months of knowing each other.

But when the time comes and she feels like it's the right time, she'll say something. Until then she'll just go on about it the way they're doing now.

"Alright. Come on." She grabbed Megan's hand and they both left out of her room, going towards the front door and opening it. The warm weather met their bodies as they walked to Megan's car and she opened the door for Mia.

Mia smiled appreciatively as she settled into the passenger seat, putting her seatbelt on, and getting ready for the nuggets she's about to have.

{Fifteen minutes later}

"Ooh that was so good." Mia spoke as she rubbed on her belly. Megan glanced her way before chuckling at the way she had her belly poked out.

"Mama what the hell?" She sipped her drink before shaking her head out of amusement.

"What?" Mia scrunched her face up before leaning up. "Never seen a girl eat good before?" She asked as she sighed and sipped from her lemonade.

"I have but I've never seen a girl eat two chicken sandwiches, fries, and Mac and cheese." Megan spoke while her head rested against her head restraint.

"Oh then you ain't seen nothin' yet." Mia scoffed before a smile erupts on her face. "Thanks for buying me food. Even if I tried to pay and you slapped my hand.

Laughter filled the air as Megan looked over at her. "I told you, you weren't paying before we got to the speaker. You just didn't listen."

Mia smacked her lips together. "I still could've went half. Ya' know?" She leaned on her console, looking at her.

Megan kept the contact, as she too, leaned on the console.

"And I told you, you don't have to pay when we're together." Megan quietly spoke as they were face to face now.

"But I still wanted to." Mia whispered as her eyes fell down to her lips that she was biting.

To say Mia was experiencing some internal conflict would be an understatement. The intensity of her gaze and not so subtle gesture made Megan almost smirk.

Keyword being almost.

"Yeah but you didn't." Megan whispered out before they were now a few inches from each other. The proximity between them intensified the tension in the air, each word hanging between them as they stood on the brink of unspoken emotions.

Mia grinned and then, impulsively, decided to act on her feelings. Without anymore hesitation, she said 'fuck it' in her head and boldly pulled Megan in by her shirt and pressing their lips together in a moment of bliss and passion.

The kiss led to Megan wrapping her hand around Mia's throat, causing an uncontrollable moan to slip from her.

Megan's lips were soft and warm against Mia's as they moved in sync. Megan took control of the kiss, tilting Mia's head back slightly by her throat and licking her bottom lip, asking for entrance.

A moan exited from both of them as Mia bit down on Megan's tongue slightly, making her hand tighten around her throat.

Several minutes later and they pulled back, out of breath and hot. Their heads were leaned against each others as the tried to catch their breaths.

"And to think I didn't do that earlier." Mia mumbled out, causing them to laugh. They looked at each other before pecking their lips together again.

"Do you know how long I wanted to do that?" Mia asked as she sat back in her seat, eyes on her as she bit her lip.

"I don't know. Why don't you tell me?" Megan spoke as she eyed Mia with hooded eyes and swollen lips.

"Four weeks in to you going to my school."

"Mhm. Wow. Well do you wanna know how long I've wanted to do that?" Megan asked as she eyed her, looking her up and down.

"How long?" Mia whispered before moving a piece of hair from in front of Megan's eyes.

"Since I first saw you. I basically claimed you the day I saw you." She bit her lip as she talked, just thinking about kissing her again.

"Well you should've said something." Mia spoke as she leaned over the console and connected their lips again.

This time going slower. Savoring it. Cherishing it.
