Chapter 2:

Beomgyu pulled Taehyun through the winding streets, dodging pedestrians and cars. They finally stopped at a nondescript building, and Beomgyu pushed open the door.

Inside, a dimly lit room filled with computer screens and futuristic equipment greeted Taehyun's eyes. Soobin, Yeonjun, and Huening Kai stood around a holographic display, their faces lit by the soft glow.

"Beomgyu, you've found him,"

Soobin said, her eyes narrowing.

Taehyun's mind raced.

"What's going on? Why are you searching for me?"

Beomgyu's expression turned serious

"You possess a unique genetic code, Taehyun. One that holds the key to unlocking a powerful technology."

Yeonjun stepped forward.

"We need your DNA to complete the project."

Taehyun's eyes widened.

"What project?"

Huening Kai's eyes gleamed with excitement.

"A device capable of manipulating time itself."

Taehyun's heart raced.

"You can't be serious."

Soobin's voice turned cold.

"We are dead serious, Taehyun. And you're coming with us, whether you like it or not."

Beomgyu's grip on Taehyun's hand tightened.

"Don't worry, you will be safe. You have my word Taehyun. I took you here so your safety is my responsibility, I'll protect you."

But Taehyun's mind was reeling. Could he trust Beomgyu, or was he just a pawn in their game?

Beomgyu's eyes gleamed with a mix of determination and vulnerability as he gazed at Taehyun. But little did Taehyun know, Beomgyu's past held secrets that would change everything.

Flashback:

A younger Beomgyu, barely a teenager, stood in a dimly lit laboratory. Scientists in white coats scurried around him, their faces obscured by masks. A figure in the shadows watched with keen interest.

"Subject Beomgyu, you have shown remarkable potential,"

the figure said, their voice low and menacing.

"Your genetic makeup is unique, a perfect match for our project."

Beomgyu's eyes widened as the scientists injected him with a strange serum. He felt his body change, his senses heightening.

"What have you done to me?"

he demanded, his voice shaking.

The figure stepped forward, revealing a shocking truth.

"You are now a part of something greater, Beomgyu. A project that will change the course of human history."

Present day:

Beomgyu's thoughts snapped back to the present, his eyes still locked on Taehyun. He knew he had to protect him, but from what, he wasn't entirely sure.

As Beomgyu and Taehyun navigated the complex web of secrets, a shocking revelation emerged. The project Beomgyu was part of, codenamed "Eclipse," aimed to harness the power of time manipulation for sinister purposes.

"Soobin, Yeonjun, and Huening Kai are just pawns in a larger game,"

Beomgyu revealed, his eyes grave with concern.

"A powerful organization, known only as 'The Syndicate,' pulls the strings from behind the scenes."

Taehyun's mind raced.

"What does this have to do with me?"

Beomgyu's expression turned solemn.

"Your unique genetic code is the key to unlocking the Eclipse technology. But The Syndicate will stop at nothing to exploit it, putting the entire world at risk."

As they delved deeper into the conspiracy, Taehyun found himself growing more dependent on Beomgyu's protection. Their close proximity sparked a flutter in his chest, a feeling he couldn't ignore.

"Beomgyu, I...I don't know what to do,"

Taehyun admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

Beomgyu's gaze softened, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"We'll face this together, Taehyun. I can understand what you're feeling now.  You have to stay strong. But you don't have to be worried I have promised you that I will keep you safe. And I will"

Their hands touched, and a jolt of electricity ran through Taehyun's body. He felt a flutter in his chest, a sensation he couldn't ignore.
