Harassment

Luke POV

I just started my shift at Verizon and took my place at the customer help desk, awaiting my next customer.
My eyes are wandering the store and then I hear a familiar voice and my head snaps to the front where customers sign in. Riley. What happened between me and her? We were best friends. Oh that's right I became an asshole and left her friendless. Wait what am I talking about? She kinda deserved it.
My thoughts overtaking my mind and I snapped out of it when I realized that she was in front of me.

"Hey" she said
"Hi, how can I help you" I recited the opening we had to say to every customer
"I need to change my number" she said in an annoyed tone.
"Yeah no problem, I just need to leave a note for the reason" I replied
"Harassment" she replied quietly
"Yeah, I'll put down the note and you will have a new number any minute" I told her reassuringly.
As I was waiting for the exchange to go through, I thought about what she said. Harassment, I know it wasn't me but I damn well knew who it was. I know I hate... Hated... Maybe still hate for certain reasons, but I know some one who will always hate her. Mikey. I'll have to ask him about....
*DING*
The bell dragged me out of my thoughts and notified me that the exchange was completed and went through. The screen then displayed her new number. She wrote it down, I gave her a new SIM card to put in her phone, she thanked me and left. Before I closed out of her account, I wrote down her number. I'm not sure why, but I did.
