Robins POV :
The club was loud and dirty. Just the place eddies band would play. "Anything for a gig" I guess. I came with Steve to support Eddie. His music's not really my style but whatever. At least I'm not in the house.

"Robin c'mere, I want you to meet the band!" Eddie shouted across the crowded room. People were starting to file in because the band was about to start. Eddie began to introduce every member until he got to the bass player. That's when she caught my attention.

"And this is Natalia, she plays bass." He said, finishing the intros

"Oh hey new girl, I've never seen you at our shows. What's your name?" She said turning around from the bar and towards me.

"Oh uhm I'm Robin, I'm uh Steve's friend." I said, basically shaking.
God shes gorgeous

Nat's POV : I whipped my head around hearing Eddie say my name.
Woah she's pretty

"Oh hey new girl, I've never seen you at our shows. What's your name?" I said trying to be cool.

"Oh uhm I'm Robin, I'm uhm Steve's friend." She looked nervous.
Do I make her nervous? Why would I make her nervous? As far as I'm aware I'm the only gay girl around for miles. Is she..?

"Alright guys, showtime lets go," Eddie shouted back at us, cutting off my thought.

"See you guys after." I said, mostly to Robin while eyeing her, making her blush.

Robins POV :
I watched as she ran up on stage in her little black dress and corset. She looked amazing. Nothing like any of the other girls in Hawkins, no pink, no frills, no fresh blowout just messy hair and smudged eyeliner. Shes perfect.

"Take a picture, she'll last longer" Steve says chuckling a little. Shit I was staring.

"Shut up, dingus. I wasn't even looking at her." I lie.

"Wooow so we lie to each other now? I'm hurt." Steve said feigning sadness

"Ya right dumbass, get me a drink." I said, slapping money in his hand. The band starts playing and there really good. But I can't take my eyes off her. God damn. The song was ok but she looks majestic. I've never seen a girl play guitar before. I could get used to it.

Time skip to after bc I'm lazyyy

Nat's POV :
The show went pretty good. Lead singer didn't puke this time so I count it as a win. And the pretty new girl was eyeing me the whole time. I think she thought I didn't notice. I did. I made my way off the stage after setting my guitar back in it's case.

"Hey Ed's, get me a beer please, I'll be over in a minute." I shout running to get my cigarettes out of my car. That's when I noticed Robin standing by herself. Steve was occupied with a pretty blonde and Eddie was with the band. Time to swoop.

"Hey new girl, wanna walk with me? I have to run out to my car and you look uncomfortable." I said, slipping on my leather jacket and grabbing her arm.

"Oh uhm I guess yeah there's nothing else to do." She said looking back at Steve and then at me. We both started walking and I dropped her arm. I don't wanna make her more uncomfortable

"Soo Steve, is he like you're boyfriend or.." I started

"No no no no nothing like that I'm- I'm interested in someth- someone else." She said putting her head down.

"Ohh I get you. Me to. Everyone thinks me and Eddie are a thing but I'm also interested in something else. And so is he if we're being honest." I said giggling at the last part

"Oh..so you know then?" She said looking guilty.

"Trust me babe, I know, here sit." I said patting the curb she plopped down next to me as I started talking,

"6th grade, there was this girl, grace. I couldn't think about anyone else. I only wanted to talk to her, and one day, I finally built up the courage to tell her I wanted to hang out with her. Only we live in Hawkins and I invited her to the movies." I paused to smoke and she gave me a sympathetic look, sensing where this was going,

"So naturally she called me a dyke and I had to homeschool the rest of the year because the bullying was so bad." I said, taking a drag after I finished my story.

"Oh I'm so sorry...I would've never thought, well I mean kind of. I kinda thought you were, yk." Robin said, keeping her eyes on her feet the whole time.

"Ya it's ok. Most people think worse of me. I mean I'm friends with Eddie "the freak" Munson. They just kinda group me in with him." I said staring at the ground. Robin looked up at me. It was almost dark and the moonlight was reflecting off her eyes. I really wanna kiss her.

"I don't think you're a freak... I think your really cool..." She said "and pretty" she said, so quietly I think I was supposed to miss it. I didn't.

"So..should we head back in? Or we could stay out here, it's nice. Quiet, I like it out here." Robin said, breaking eye contact and looking up at the moon.

"Ya or-" I said, scooting closer "we could go lay in my truck bed? I keep blankets in there just in case." I said, sliding my hand down her arm. She tensed up for a moment, then relaxed and gripped my hand in hers.

"Ya I like your idea. We should probably tell them before we disappear." She said.

"Ya probably. I gotta grab my bass too." I said standing up and pulling her with me. We walked back into the bar, I dropped her hand and ran up to Eddie

"You owe me $20 dipshit. I gotta get my bass and then we r gonna go listen to music in my truck." I said, smacking the back of his head as I ran past him to get my bass.

"Dammit..good for you I guess." He shouted back at me, pulling out a twenty.
