I shut my eyes clenching my jaw as he was about to slap me but the pain never came. As I opened my eyes I saw Jake had caught his arm.
"Not very gentlemen like to hit a lady, especially his lady" he growled at Lucius.
Lucius smirked his eyes turning a shade of dark green."That's right she's My lady meaning I can do what I want with her, now run along guard dog before I talk your walking ability"
I shivered knowing that look in his eyes very well, he meant what he said, looking at Jake I was taken aback. He didn't move an inch his eyes a dangerous shade of red, conflict could be seen in them.
"Angel is here as a royal guest and I'm to escort her so if you'll excuse us she's coming with me Lucius, you weren't invited. You're trespassing which means you either walk away freely or I have the honour to throw you in the dungeons" Lucius growled as Jake smirked and proceeded to gently grab my arm and lead me back into the palace where Lucinda and my sister waited.
