The sun was setting in smiling valley, and a certain purple feline was sitting at home, by his window.

Looking out his window, he could see almost all of smiling valley. Emerald green trees, soft green grass, and the beautiful sky, painted in pinks and oranges.

Then he spotted something moving, peering down at the sidewalk that went by his house.

He saw Dogday and AquaViva taking a walk together.

He watches them, smiling sadly.

They were so happy together, and they deserved to be.

"Dogday deserves her... and she deserves him..." he whispers. "T-they're perfect together."

Tearing up, his smile fades.

"I-in this world... he's hers..."

As his tears roll down his face, he gets his handkerchief to dry them with.

"I wish I could be her...even if only for one day..." he laments. "Just so he could love me back..."

He gets up, going up to his bedroom, sitting down and noticing something out the window.

The sun had fully gone down, and the stars were just starting to come out.

The first star was the very brightest in the sky.

Catnap's eyes sparkle, seeing it.

Looking down, he clasps his hands together and closes his eyes.

"Starlight, starbright... First star I see tonight... I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight..."

He takes a deep breath.

"I wish I could be AquaViva, for just one day."

After he said that, he sighs softly, then goes to get in his bed, falling asleep.

~the next day~

When Catnap woke up, he felt... different.

He sits up, feeling his ears, which felt oddly out of shape... and his sheets weren't usually this sandy color...

This wasn't his bed... he didn't sleep in a giant seashell...

Looking around, he could see turquoise furniture with shell accents, seafoam green painted walls, and various pictures of Dogday, most of them alone but some were with Viva.

He smiles, realizing what this might mean.

Then catnap looks down at his hands.

Sure enough, they were Aqua colored.

He jumps out of bed, rushing over to the seashell vanity, and squeals in delight when he sees the face of a sea-blue schnauzer-terrier.

"Yes!" He says then immediately clamps his hand over his mouth.

"Woah, I didn't realize I'd get her voice too..."

His eyes widened.

"Wait... I just realized..." he says, smiling.

"I can actually talk without it hurting!" He says, almost tearing up.
"This is the best day ever!"

Then he giggles. "And I wanna spend the time I have as Viva with my special somebody."

He looks at the shell shaped clock, seeing it was about 8:00 in the morning.

"Which means I can't waste another minute!"

~mini timeskip~

Dogday was relaxing in the park, sitting on his favorite bench and watching the clouds.
