Author POV
The evening air was filled with the anticipation of Prom Night. The campus buzzed with students getting ready, laughter echoing from dorm windows, and the hum of excitement palpable. Sunghoon was pacing back and forth in his apartment, a rare sight for someone usually so composed. He glanced at the text message from Hyerin, the words stark on his screen:
"Prom is tonight. Eunchae has no date."
Sunghoon's heart raced. He knew this was his chance. Without hesitation, he grabbed his jacket and made his way to Eunchae's apartment.
Without wasting a moment, Sunghoon made his way to Eunchae's house. As he approached, he felt a twinge of nervousness, an unusual feeling for the vampire prince. He knocked on the door, and after a few seconds, Eunchae opened it, looking surprised.
"Aren't you supposed to be at prom?" Sunghoon asked, feigning nonchalance. Eunchae hesitated, then sighed. "Yea, but I didn't have a date, and what's the point in going alone?" Sunghoon's smile widened. "Well, how about you go with me?" Eunchae's eyes widened in surprise, she blushed a little. "But you're not a student at my university." "So?" Sunghoon shrugged. "I can still be your date. Now hurry up and get ready. We don't have much time." Eunchae's face lit up with a smile, and she nodded eagerly. "Okay, give me a few minutes."
While Eunchae hurried to her room, Sunghoon made a quick trip back to his palace. The vast halls of his home echoed with his rapid footsteps as he made his way to his wardrobe. He picked out the best-looking black suit he had, one that fit him perfectly and exuded an air of both elegance and power. He dressed quickly and returned to Eunchae's house, his excitement barely contained.
Meanwhile, Eunchae stood before her mirror, examining herself critically. She had chosen a tall black cami dress, sleek and tight, with a high slit revealing her slim legs. The dress had a subtle shimmer, catching the light with every movement, and accentuating her curves. She styled her hair in the most beautiful way possible to complement her dress, and her makeup was flawless – My makeup look focused on achieving a soft gradient effect for my lips. I applied a deeper shade in the center, blending it outwards to a lighter hue. This technique gave my lips a natural, flushed appearance, enhancing their fullness and dimension. For my eyes, I preferred subtle and neutral eyeshadows that softly defined my eye shape. I also added a touch of shimmer to my eyelids and aegyo-sal, which highlighted and brightened my eyes. A thin line of eyeliner along my lash line added a delicate touch of definition without overpowering the look.
She took a deep breath and looked at her reflection. For the first time in a long while, she felt truly beautiful. Just then, she heard a knock on the door and rushed to open it. Sunghoon stood there, looking dashing in his black suit. His eyes widened slightly as he took in Eunchae's appearance. "You look stunning," he said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. Eunchae blushed, her heart racing. "Thank you. You look very handsome yourself." Sunghoon offered her his arm. "Shall we?"
Sunghoon's Koenigsegg Gemera was parked outside, its sleek lines and powerful presence drawing the eyes of everyone around. As they approached, the private driver opened the door, and Eunchae slid into the luxurious interior, Sunghoon following close behind.
The drive to the prom venue was smooth and swift. Sunghoon, seated next to Eunchae, was acutely aware of the stares they received. He ignored them, focusing instead on Eunchae, who seemed to grow more radiant with every passing moment.

At the venue, the grandeur of the prom night unfolded before them. The hall was decorated with twinkling lights and elegant drapery, a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night. Sunghoon, ever the gentleman, held out his hand to help Eunchae out of the car. As they entered, heads turned, conversations paused, and eyes followed them.
