A/N inspired by my favourite song x

I was on the balcony with Matt while Nick and Chris were upstairs probably playing video games. We had gone to a hotel for a change of scenery and it was our first night there. So Matt and I checked the view from the balcony out. It was about 7pm but the sunset was beautiful. "See it's not that high is it?" I laughed as Matt stood beside me and held the railing.

"I guess not," he rolled his eyes playfully. "The sun is already setting," I said with a wide smile. "You like appreciating the small things don't you?" he asked and I nodded. "Big things have lost their appeal" I told him "the small things need more attention, no one cares about them" I could feel his eyes on me and his smile was full of admiration.

"I've always loved you for that," he said. "Life isn't life anymore either, everyone is so sucked into phones and shit like that" i always felt that way. "Thats why i have a flip phone everyone just wastes their life now trying to look like a fucking plastic barbie with lips that look like a ducks" it wasnt funny but matt laughed "dont laugh matty its silly but true" i pouted.

"I'm laughing because I love your ways" he walked behind me and wrapped his arms around my neck and kissed my cheek. "I love how you understand what i mean" i laughed as his soft lips tickled my skin. "I love small things too" he told me "because you're small" i felt his smirk on my cheek as I moved my head to look at him. "You're just too tall" I gave him a small kiss on his forehead and walked into the living room.
