Matts POV

"I'm telling you they're dating," Nick told me as we walked. We had just been to the corner store for some soda because Chris, as the Pepsi addict he is drank all of them. "Just leave it Nick, it's really not our business" I sighed. Nick has the impression that my brother Chris is dating his best friend Y/n which seems right but we didn't need to know about them dating if they wanted to tell us they definitely would.

"Y/n is my best friend matt. I should know about this" he had a point they never kept secrets from each other. "Even the fans are shipping them" he said "at least they aren't shipping me and chris anymore that was just plain weird". We made it to the house but before I could open the door Nick pulled my arm and took us behind the wall.

"Dude what's with you?" I asked him. He had a secretive look on his face that soon changed to a smirk. "We should watch them," he told me. "Bro what?" he was losing his mind. "Through the window and before you say it i know its weird but what if something bad happens-"

"You're being ridiculous" I rolled my eyes and peeked through the window. They were both on the sofa laughing about something. It all seemed normal. "I'm never wrong," Nick said. "Fine whatever I'm going inside you stay here and" I felt stupid even saying it "spy on our best friends' ' Nick nodded and went to the window and looked inside.

The window was slightly open. I had my hand on the doorknob ready to turn it but before I did, Nick screamed trying not to make too much noise. "Oh my god" he exclaimed in his 'trying to be quiet' voice. "What is it?" I asked as I ran over to the window. "See you wanna see too" my brother raised his eyebrows at me and i rolled my eyes yet again. I loved my brother and this was creepy but maybe I did want to see. Thankfully their backs were turned away from the window. Just then Nick backed away from the window a little and had a mixture of happiness and pure shock on his face. "What?" I asked him in a flat voice. "Baby" he exclaimed yet again "chris just called her baby" he screamed happily and the front door opened. "Hey you guys your back" Y/n smiled at us. I felt so stupid now I had just spied on her and now I had to face her.

"hi" I said nervously. Nick was not nervous at all. "Hey" Nick said in a squeaky sounding voice. "Nick whats wrong with you you sound like a fucking chipmunk" chris laughed. "What's that supposed to be about 'baby'?" he said without feeling even a little bad that he spied on his best friend and brother. "Oh" Y/n erupted into a laughing fit and so did chris. Me and Nick shared a confused facial expression. "What's so funny?" Nick asked, "yeah" I said.

"We were talking about the movie we watched the over night" Y/n's laughter died down a bit. "Where the guy calls the girl baby and never her real name" chris chuckled "I mean he probably always forgot her name" he laughed "that's it you weren't calling Y/n baby chris?" i asked him and he shook his head "no way she's like a sister to me" he put his arm around her and messed with her hair "exactly i can't imagine dating chris" she said pushing chris playfully. "So maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions nick" chris raised an eyebrow and smirked "yeah" nick smiled "maybe".
