Jun Sickfics (Seventeen)

Jun POV:

Recently I've been feeling insecure about my weight. Every time I watched my performances back I read comments. Most of them are nice but some of them that are there really bother me. Many people called me fat and that I need to lose weight. This really bothered me because I work out but it doesn't seem to be working. I look in the mirror and suddenly everything changes. I look worse. I start crying and scratching at my skin trying to get rid of it. I can't do this. I don't like it. I need to lose weight.

From that day forward I decided I was going to skip some meals and the meals I did eat, eat less. I'd also need to work harder at the gym and during practice. When I woke up my member Mingyu was already cooking. I felt bad throwing away his food but I couldn't help it. I need to lose weight. I need to make my fans happy. All the members came down to eat. When everyone wasn't looking I took chunks off the food and threw it away to make it not look suspicious. Finally after a bit I threw away all the food.

Not eating made me really dizzy but it's okay because beauty is pain. We got to dance practice and started dancing. I put in my all to lose as much weight as possible. Finally we got called to take a break. As much as I wanted a break I couldn't. That's time I could do practicing so that's what I did. "Jun why don't you take a break? You must be tired" Minghao.

3RD Person POV:

Of course Minghao knew Jun had a lot of stamina but it looked like he was really overworking himself and he was concerned. Jun just responded saying he wasn't tired.

A couple days later they had to get their weight check for health and also beauty standard reasons. Jun was super nervous for this day. He knew he would be happier with his weight but what about the members? How would he explain it to them. For now though, Jun wanted to lose more weight. He went to the gym when everyone else was asleep it did some workouts. He stepped on the scale and was happy.

Finally it was time to get there weight checked. When Jun stepped on the scale everyone was shocked. He was 5kg (abt 11 pounds) underweight. There worst part is that Jun didn't even look bothered. The members automatically panicked wondering why Jun was so under weight.

When they come back to the dorms everyone was making Jun eat and staring at him. Jun had no escape now and was forced to finish it. He couldn't throw it away now. After everyone was done eating, they started questioning Jun. Jun couldn't handle it, he knew it was wrong and he didn't need people telling him. He just went to his room and locked the door. He couldn't handle it.

It's not like he wanted to feel this way but the comments did. He looked at the mirror and looked at himself. He didn't like what he saw. He just sobbed harder. He started scratching at his skin again trying to get off the fat he thought he had. He heard his member Minghao knocking. He desperately wanted to let him in but he couldn't. He looked like a mess and he already knew what he would ask. His eyes were watering and he was heavily breathing he looked completely awful, but finally after building up some courage he unlocked the door and opened it. The second Minghao saw Jun he hugged him and comforted him.

"I'm not going to force you to talk" Minghao said, "but if you're having problems I would be happy to listen." At this Jun broke down and told him all about the comments. How he hated himself. How he thought he was overweight. Now he felt like a burden from doing all this. Minghao was quick to comfort him feeling bad for Jun. When they hugged you can definitely feel how much smaller Jun has gotten. It pained him knowing that people said things to make him get to this point. Minghao convinced Jun to talk to the members knowing it might feel bad at first but it will help a lot in the long run.

It a couple of days Jun started feeling a lot better after talking with the members who were nothing but supportive and the company was deleting the comments to make sure nothing like that happens again. Jun slowly started to maintain a healthy wait. He still had his little moments but everyone always helped. Jun was glad to have the members by his side.
