Thank you all for 200 views! Wow this is so crazy and I'm so happy! This will be the last chapter in the story, sorry if it feels slightly rushed but I've always wanted to be fast paced and a one sit read.

The two teenagers were woken up by the bell.

The dismissal bell.

The clock that Atsumu set didn't go off leaving the two to sleep through the afternoon classes.

It was a coincidence that neither team had practice this Friday due to the necessary rest needed before the inter high. God forbid someone injured themselves the day before the tournament.

"I'm so sorry, Yuki! I accidentally set the alarm for morning instead of afternoon!" He apologized profusely, embarrassed at his mistake.

"It's fine I guess, I needed the nap." Okiwara stood up and stretched her arms. They gathered their things and got ready to leave. "Say... do you want to go to the park since there's no practice today anyways." He muttered out, feeling slightly embarrassed at asking her out for a sort of date. "Sure." She nodded at his suggestions and the two teenagers began walking.

Without a warning, Yuki grabbed Atsumu's hand and the two of them intertwined  their fingers.

Smiles graced their faces as they strolled forward, the taller of the two swinging their hands. "Yuki. What's your dream." The boy spoke.

She sighed at the thought. "I don't know." She answered truthfully. Her companion abruptly stopped and stared at her with widened eyes. "But you're so good at volleyball!" It would be such a waste to not continue with it!" He slightly raised his voice, the corners of her mouth curled up and she squeezed his hand. "It's just that I love volleyball. I really do. But there's no future for me in it. No matter what, woman sports will never receive the same recognition as male sports. Even the most amazing female athletes rarely match the salaries of slightly known men. My dream is to retire my mother and give her the best life so I need to make lots of money." Atsumu frowned at the girls short speech. He knew that there was truth in her words but she was the best volleyball player he knew and he wanted her to pursue it.

"I." He started suddenly before taking a deep breath and continuing. "Let's get married when I become a pro volleyball player and make lots of money so you can pursue your dream without worrying about finance" he slightly yelled, a deep red hue adored his cheeks as he bowed in front of her. Her eyes reared up at the gesture.

They've only gotten to know eachother ion the past week and he was already promosibg to marry her?

He was crazy if he thought she would agree to him.

"Ok. I'll hold you up to your promise." She sighed as she spoke. Suddenly, a giant smile graced her face as tears streamed down her face while she stared at the man who stole her heart for the second time.

He grinned and let go of her hand before his warm arms embraced her and he picked her up with a silent gasp heard from the smaller girl.

The two laughed, still standing in the middle of the street.

So what if they are stupid teenagers?

So what if they got off to a rough start?

And so what if they move to fast?

They still have years ahead to change their minds and it feels pretty damn good to know that theres a person who wants a future with you.

In their third year of highschool, both Atsumu and Yuki were made team captains and led their respective teams to victory in the spring nationals.

On graduation day, Atsumu was voted valedictorian and  Yuki became the Salutatorian. Both give respective speeches to encourage their year in the transition to university years.

While taking graduation pictures together. Atsumu got on one knee and proposed to her infront of their families and teams.

She accepted in tears.

The two were overwhelmingly happy and it spread to everyone around them.

Both went to a prestigious university in Japan where they studied for their respective subjects while playing volleyball for the teams.

The moment they left university they became professional players signed by respective clubs and team Japan.

After securing their large pay checks, they got married with friend and family around them with Osamu as the best man and Rize the maid of honour.

At 27, Miya Yuki gave birth to twin boys. They were named Akira and Akiko which both meant bright, symbolizing the joy they brought into their lives.

The boys grew up to love volleyball as much as their parents.

The end.
Hi everyone! Thanks for reading!
I'm so excited to finish this story
As I've mentioned in my first note, this ending does feel slightly rushed but I wanted to end it on a confession and then kind off summarize their lives without going into too much detail. As I've mentioned in the introduction to this story, it's pure fluff and I realized that if I drag it out too much it might get boring without conflict.

At the moment, I'm in the middle of writing a Geto  from jjk story. Following that I'll write a modern au with toji so if you're interested in those, please follow me for updates! I will write more haikyuu after the movie comes out online but while I wait, I'll indulge my readers in jjk content 💕💕

Finally, this is my goodbye to the readers of this story. This is very personal to me because it's the first one that I've managed to complete. Please vote and comment if you liked it❤️❤️
