lando thought it would be better to have aera and him meet up in a less isolated place,seeing as that would be the only way to probably avoid an outburst between both of them

aera was currently sat across him as a waiter decided to ask what they would like to order before walking away

lando saw that it was time for him to start talking "you know,i never really thought that we'd ever meet again,not after what happened between us." he admitted sheepishly looking down

"neither did i"aera also admitting.although she did know that they were bound to cross paths one way or another,she never thought it would happen so unexpectedly.

"i'm sorry" lando apologised avoiding any eye contact with the girl that sat in front of him. "i shouldn't have done that to you,the only reason i did it was because i thought that maybe it would change the way you viewed my friendship with her and i never really knew her true intention when it came to that situation." he spoke "i really should've tried preventing that from happening" he continued looking at her

aera felt like there was so much that she needed to say but she couldn't.at this point she felt tears trying to sneak out of her eyes but before they could she sucked them in from ever escaping

"i'm also sorry"she apologised causing lando to be confused as to why she was apologising "i feel like if i didn't doubt your loyalty towards me,that wouldn't have happened in the first place"she further explained to him

"i really tried reaching out to you after that,i wanted to text you,call you even" she admitted

"so why didn't you?"

"i felt stupid,i couldn't handle the guilt and pain of hearing your voice,i wanted to hate you but for some reason i couldn't,i wanted nothing to do with you" she spoke causing him to nod his head understanding how she felt towards him.aera knew that no matter what happened she could never hate lando.in fact,she really hoped that everything could go back to normal and she'd still be sharing the same bed as him

"do you think that there's a way to fix things between us"lando asked in hope of a yes

"i don't know,maybe if we take it slow" she said,although all she really wanted was to say yes she just couldn't bring herself to get hurt by him again.

"friends?"he suggested

"friends"she slightly chuckled before putting her hand on his to give it a slight squeeze
