chapter 5: ungodly

(your pov)

its been weeks, since i really had to do much at work. it was supposed to be my day off until jenna called me in. "those papers you got from the forest where are they y/n" jenna spoke only for me to hand them over. 

"they all have your name, they match your dna, they all hung themselves" jenna spoke only to look at me. "if you think i know the answer i dont jenna, im still trying to figure it out myself" i said getting her to look at me again. "we had a hard time entering you in the first place, no wonder because there was 2 existing data entries for you created from across the years" jenna spoke almost as if it all clicked. 

"okay thats cool...but why?" i asked only bringing her back to me. "i dont know" she answered. "you think its reincarnation?" i asked "you barely remember louis being old right?" she asked. "i dont remember him being older then 30" i added. "which wouldnt click in 2012" 

after talking for hours on end we gave up on the dead end. until one faithful report where jenna asked dr.noah. so when i went there for my physical i was met with him and zayne. zayne looked pissed off per usual. 

"3 DNAs and RNAs that are an exact match, even facial reconstruct is a direct match. odd isnt it" dr noah spoke only to look at me and zayne. zayne was more worried about me then he was about the whole thing. 

"the thing is, no parent is the same, or related" he kept going on while i looked at zayne. "your not taking this well, your stressed" zayne spoke up pulling a chair for me. was i sat i was out like a light dead asleep. 

(zayne pov)

"your worried, this is a discovery" doctor noah spoke only to turn his head towards us. "your worried about her, shes fine doctor zayne" he directed his attention towards me. "its news to me, its news to her. nothing more nothing less. shes stressed out" i said only getting a smile. 

"her mother would talk about you constantly zayne, talk about how you were made for each other. but the fact is your both two different people. she lives to reckless to be anywhere near you" he admitted. after an hour of her not waking up it was up to me to carry her out. 

im used to it regardless. all the sleepless nights and evol failures. even by the time we got to linkon city she was still sleeping. hibernation. the only place left was my living quarters, so once we got there i placed her in the bed. no time for sleep like any other anyhow. 

(xaviers pov)

"the dna was an exact match xavier" yin spoke my ear off about everything and anything. "its interesting. in some places reincarnation is big" i added only getting an eye roll. "i cant even pin point her evol" she fessed up only to look at me. "darkness, its the opposite of light" i said getting a shocked face. 

"so shes like yin and your like yang, but yin never dies" yin repeated only to realize she said her own name and smile. the more we walked around the more we talked. "maybe shes right xavier, you need more tone in your voice" yin brought up. 

taken aback sure, i felt like all of my emotions were fine. "i think i speak normally"

sure i woke up in zaynes bed with him sleeping like a Victorian child next to me. id say this is normal, ill call this a catch up on my sleep since i havent in a couple of days. i barely slpet since everything going on and you know i call it stress maybe even insomnia.
