KOEN.
KOEN'S EYES SHOT OPEN, as he woke up from his six year long dreamless sleep. His body floated around aimlessly inside the small box he was in while he slowly became more and more aware of what was going on.
The box like container he was in soon opened and he carefully made his way out, taking off the restraints that surrounded his body. He looked around at everything and watched as more and more people began to wake up.
"You've been in cryo for five years, nine months, and twenty-two days. You will be hungry. You will be weak. If you feel nauseous, please use the sacks."
As the man continued yelling out to them, Koen made his way over to his locker, taking a bit to find it. When he did, he was floating beside another man who was also taking snacks out of his locker.
"Hey" the man spoke and nodded at Koen who gave him a small smile in return "what's your name?"
"Koen, you?"
"Jake Sully, are you part of Dr. Augustine's group?" the man he now knew as Jake asked him while eating a random protein bar that he finally found
"Yeah, I'm excited to meet my avatar" Koen smiled at him but before Jake could say anything else it was time for them to leave and get ready for landing.

Koen and Jake sat next to one another as they landed, talking to each other while they did. "Exo-packs on! Let's go!" was yelled out by someone
Both of them got them on while waiting for their next orders from the man. "Remember people, you lose that mask, you're unconscious in 20 seconds, you're dead in four minutes!"
Koen could feel his anxiety begin to surge while they finally landed on Pandora. He had wanted all his life to be here and now he actually was, and not only that but he was working under Grace Augustine.
"Harnesses off, get your packs! One minute, let's go!" Everyone began to get up and get in a line, listening as the man in charge of them spoke, "When that ramp comes down, go directly into the base. Do not stop, go straight inside. Wait for my mark."
The ramp of the plane opened and everyone stared as they caught their first glimpse of what their lives would look like for the next few years.
"Go, go, go!" Everyone started to run off the plane, everyone but Koen and Jake. Jake had to wait to get his wheelchair and Koen had decided to stay back to help him.
