"Link's ready!"
THE FOUR of them all were now getting ready for their first trip out on Pandora in their avatar bodies. Koen was getting ready to lay in his pod when he heard Grace say, "Just keep your mouth shut and let Norm and Koen do the talking"
Being on Pandora was one thing, but being out on Pandora and flying in the sky while looking down at the beauty below them was completely different. A good type of different.
"You should see your face right now" Jake laughed at Koen who just pushed him and rolled his eyes. They flew past giant trees and waterfalls, Jake letting out excited yells as they did.
When they eventually landed Grace had only her three come with her and left Trudy and another marine behind at the scorpion. Koen couldn't help staring at everything in wonder, seeing all the plants and animals he had learned about back at home.
As they walked further into the forest with Jake in the front, he was on edge the whole time, pointing his gun at the first animals he saw. "Prolemuris. They're not aggressive, Jake" Koen told him with a pat to his shoulder
"Relax, marine. You're making me nervous."
"So, how will they know we're here?" Norm eventually asked
"I'm sure they're watching us right now."
While Norm and Grace took samples of the forest, Jake and Koen walked off a bit, completely bored. While Koen followed Jake, they walked in a giant group of helicoradians.
Jake slowly made his way over, cautiously reaching his hand out and touching one. Koen already knew what they would do but it was still funny watching Jake's reaction, seeing his ears perk up in curiosity then excitement as he continued to poke all of them.
That was until a group of them closed up and revealed a huge titanothere, Jake quickly backed up to where he and Koen originally were and pointed his gun at it. "Don't shoot Jake, you'll piss him off" Koen spoke while Grace and Norm ran up to them
"It's already pissed off!"
"Jake, that armors too thick. Trust me." Grace told Jake who pulled his gun back, both him and Koen standing still. The titanothere continued to angrily swing his head around while knocking down trees. "It's a territorial threat display, do not run or he'll charge"
