KOEN.

THE OMATIKAYA rode out to the four winds, the horse clans of the plains, the ikran people of the eastern sea. When Toruk Makto called, they came.

Over the days leading up to the fight, Koen stayed by Mo'at's side. He chose to learn more healing remedies from the tsahìk herself, knowing that maybe one of these days he would take over her role. It hadn't been decided but knowing Neytiri and Tsu'tey weren't together, and she wasn't interested in becoming tsahìk, it was possible.

Koen was proud of Jake. He gathered clans from all over to come help them fight the RDA. He took his role seriously and was determined to right the wrongs he had made. Not only that but he was determined to protect his family, not just Norm, Trudy Koen, and the people, but the family he was making with Neytiri. They had found out Neytiri was with child and he was going to do everything he could to protect her.

At the moment Koen, Jake, Norm, and Trudy were sat inside site 26, Max on the computer in front of them updating them about Quaritch.

"Jake, it's crazy here. It's full mobilization. They're rigging the shuttle as a bomber. They've got these huge pallets of mine explosives. It's for some kind of shock-and-awe campaign."

"Fricking daisy cutters" Trudy whispered out

"Quaritch has taken over. He's rolling and there's no stopping him."

"When?" Koen asked

"0600, tomorrow"

"Max!" a woman in the background yelled out and Max quickly disconnected the call, a blue screen overcoming the computer.

"We're screwed!" Norm groaned as he shut the computer off, gripping onto the gun that was in his handed while Trudy laughed at their situation.

"And I was hoping for some sort of tactical plan that didn't involve martyrdom. We're going up against gunships with bows and arrows."

"I have 15 clans out there. That's over 2,000 warriors. Now, we know these mountains. We fly them. You fly them." Jake pointed specifically at Trudy while he said the last part of his sentence. "They don't" he pointed towards outside the door.

"Their instruments won't work up there. Missile tracking won't work. They'll have to fire in the line of sight. If they bring the fight to us, then we have the home-field advantage."
