The rumbling of the old rusty truck turned heads. Everyone turns and whispers. Some speak of the Black impala following the truck. The two girls park their individual vehicles next to each other.
Bella getting out first while Evelynn kills the engine and reaches into the passenger seat and grabs her black bag before opening the door. Her heels clicking against the soggy pavement as she steps out. Her hair falling over her shoulders as she does.
"Nice Ride." a Boy tells her. She looks at him and smiles. "Thanks Sweets." She says as she locks her car and walks to Bella. Smirking to herself as the boy blushes and ducks his head. The two girls link arms and walk towards the building.
"How many people do you think will actually greet us?" Evelynn asks. Bella purses her lips as she thinks. "10?" She offers. Evelynn hesitates before nodding. "Sounds about right." She mumbles. Bella smiles and the demigoddess opens the door for her.
It didnt take long for the two girls too find the office. Bella opening the door for Evelynn as they walk in. "Pardon." Evelynn says, catching the attention of the woman behind the desk. The woman was older with silver grey hair and light brown eyes.
It didn't take long for her to realize they were new. Having never seen the two girls before. "Oh. You must be the new girls. Isabella Swan and Evelynn-Jade Erickson?" She asks. double checking her suspicions.
The two girls nod in sync and the older woman spins in her wheely chair. Grabbing a few papers before spinning back around. "This is your schedule and here is a slip, all you have to do is have each of your teacher's sign it and bring it back to me at the end of the day." She states.
The two girls listen and nod as they take the papers she was holding out. "Thank you." Evelynn tells her and the two leave the office. Looking over their schedules. "We have Gym, Art and Biology together." Bella says sadly.
Unhappy with being split up from her best friend for the majority of school. "We still have lunch together." Evelynn tells her. Trying to cheer the brunette up. Before Bella could speak a boy comes over. A kind smile on his face.
His hair was black and swiped over his eyebrows and his eyes were dark brown. "You're Evelynn-Jade and Isabella Swan, right? The new girls?" He asks. Evelynn smiles and nods, Bella doing the same.
"Hi. I'm Eric. The eyes and ears of this place. Anything you need. Tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on." The boy states, a flirty smile on his face as he looks between the two. "Thanks for the offer. We'll think it over." Evelynn tells him.
Eric blushes slightly as she smiles at him. He had been expecting harsh words and criticism. Not a kind smile and a thanks. "Um..." He trails before nodding. "Yeah, So I'm on the school paper and was wondering if you guys would be okay with doing a feature?" he asks.
