She had changed, but her glare was still like a blade. Cutting into him with dangerous precision. His mind flashing images of his last encounter with her. Edward's brows furrow as he reads the man's mind.
If he wasn't afraid of Evelynn before, he was now. Seeing the younger, but deadly girl with blood coating her, her black hair matted with mud, venom and sweat. Blade in her hand as she takes off a Vampire's head.
"We wouldn't want another... Situation. Would we?" She asks, a dangerous smirk on her face. She takes pleasure in the vampire's fear. Watching as his eyes widen and his body tenses. The man shaking his head furiously as he takes a few steps back.
"No!" He exclaims, gulping as he attempts to collect himself. Smiling nervously as he pulls James back by the hair. His eyes never leaving the dangerous Demigoddess that he had feared and avoided for years.
"No Problem. Madam. No problem at all. We will leave." He tells her. Victoria looks at him in confusion. As do the Cullens who look between the two. Seeing the smirk on Evelynn's lips while Laurent shakes in fear.
"We leave now." He states, yanking James again. "We will leave." he seethes. The blonde hesitates before he finally backs into the woods with his cohorts, disappearing. Laurent sends a small bow of his head towards the Demigoddess before following.
As soon as they were out of her line of sight she turns to Edward. "He's still coming for her, Isn't he?" She asks. He turns and looks at her with a newfound fear and respect. Nodding with a dark look.
"James is a tracker. I saw his mind. The hunt is his obsession, and our reaction set him off. We just made this his most exciting game ever." He states. Evelynn sighs before turning to Bella. "Come on." she urges. Grabbing the human's hand and leading her towards the jeep.
Edward and Jasper following as the Cullens think of what to do. "Follow them!" Evelynn calls as she pushes Bella into the Jeep. Climbing into the driver seat, not caring about Jasper and Edward as she starts the engine.
The two vampires climbing in. Edward getting in the back with Bella while Jasper climbs to the passenger seat. She speeds from the field and through the forest. "When we get home, were going to tell Charlie that were sleeping over at the Cullens." She states.
The other three listen to her. Edward attempting to read her mind. However, her thought's quickly go from English to Greek. Images of different plans and parts of the woods flashing through her mind.
"What are we going to do?" Bella asks as Jasper pushes calming waves through the car, doing his best to keep them calm. "You're, not going to do anything. And I, am going to do what I do best." She states, pulling onto the main road.
