chapter six- the ball

~Gumball's POV~

after Marshall went home i took a shower and thought of the ball tonight and the theme

i know it was to announce i'm gay but i think my kingdom already knows cause of my running away

it's too late to cancel the ball so what can i change the point of the ball to?

i don't know maybe i'll see if Marshall has any ideas

TXT 2 MARSHALL: any ball theme ideas?

MARSHALL'S TXT: ummm.....maybe just to celebrate how great your kingdom is.. and maybe make it a sleep over 

that is a really good idea

glob i love how smart and creative Marshall is 

ok so now that the ball is out of the way now to the matter of what to do about Fionna

how could she do that i thought she was ok with me moving on

is she even my friend? or is it all just an act to get close to me?

if she still likes me then why did she set me and Marsh up? and why is she dating that flame guy if she still likes me?

is she jealous?

wait what if she likes Marshall not me

but that still raises the whole set us up question even more

i got to stop thinking about this and start on the ball's food preperations and other stuff like that

~Marshall's POV~

after i texted Gummy back i took a shower i started working on the music for the ball

since Gummy is bad at picking music he put me in charge of that

hmmm...what CDs should i take

ones with slow songs and fast songs and  for sure the ones with sappy love songs

ok well i might as well just take my iPod so i don't have to carry all those CDs and since i have all those type of songs on there already

so now that the music is taken care of now on to the matter of what to wear

i'm sure Gummy is gonna look all handsome and what not dressed up in his suit so i need to look great too

i rummage through my closet and find my nice gray suit

i lay it on my bed for later 

now that i did everything i needed to do what do i do now

i can't really visit anyone cause Gummy is probably busy with the ball and Fionna well she is for sure not an opition after the other day

i could visit one of the other princes but none of them are that cool 

i guess i'll just go see the ice queen even though seeing her makes me think of my past which makes me sad

so i fly of to the ice queen's castle

~Fionna's POV~

i pace back and forth as i talk to cake

"how could they forget my birthday?"

"well the ball is tonight maybe they are just so busy with that that they forgot"

"so they're to busy to remember my birthday?"

"maybe or it could also be about the whole blaming Marshall thing"

"oh yeah...but how would Gumball know"

"Marshall probably told him" she says while giving me a look that makes me feel stupid
