chapter eight~goodbye my friend

~Gumball's POV~

today was the funeral for fionna and it was an amazing one i was so amazed at how good it was

blue and green flowers were laying on fionna's casket

the priest was really good at making people sad but yet happy at the same time

the speeches a few people who were close to fionna gave were good but sad

and her spot in the grave yard was perfect it was a spot that had some shade some sun and when it rains it gets a good amount of the rain which is what made it perfect

after eveyone had left the graveyard i still stood there and watched as they slowly placed her casket in the ground and coverit with dirt

a couple tears rolled down my cheek and i sotly whispered "goodbye my friend"

i stood there for a few minutes and i don't know if it was just my imagination or the wind but i swear i heard fionna's voice say "goodbye gumball"

hearing that sent chills down my spine but it felt good

as i walked to my car my phone buzzed it was marshall calling me

"hello" i said as i answerd my phone

"where are you?"

"at the gravesite still i'm just getting into my car"

"ok well hurry up and get here"he said before hanging up

i could hear yelling in the background

what could be going on at the get together thing we planned for after the funeral?

i quickly hopped into my car and drove to the castle

when i got thereit looked like all hell had broke lose

people were fighting

all the food i had made layed scattered on the floor

marshall was trying to brake up one of the fights

"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!?!?!?!?" I yelled

Everyone froze for a minute and stared at me then went back to what they were doing

cake walked over to me and said "someone said something and it upset more people so they started to argue and it somehow turned to this"

i let out a sigh and said "i really don't have enough time or energy to deal with this"

then i went up to my room and locked the door

~Marshall's POV~

ii heard gumball yell then everything went still and we all looked at him then it all started again

i saw him talk to cake then head up to his bedroom

i would have followed him but i was holding two candy people apart so they couldn't fight

a minute later i heard cake yell "you guys are all heartless people, upsetting the prince at a time like this, he just lost his best friend in the whole world and now he has to deal with all of you fighting,"

everything went silent untill cake began to yell again "the prince was just finishing saying his goodbyes to fionna at the graveyard when he suddenly gets a phone call to hurry up and get here just so he can walk in and see his friends fighting over something stupid, like seriously guys he's already sad from the funeral and now he's even worse because of all you assholes! well i hope your all pleased with yourselves"

then she stormed out

i let go of the two i was holding and looked around the room everyone had a sad look on their faces as they stood there still and quiet

i heard a "i'm sorry" then it all started the sorrys and hugs

after about 10 minutes people started leaving

i know i should of stayed and said sorry to gumball then comfort him but i just felt so bad for helping in putting gumball in an even worse mood then he was before so i looked at the stairs leading up to his room and whispered "i'm sorry gummy, goodbye my friend"

then i walked outside and headed home

sorry it was short but i have writers block and i think i'm doing terribly at writing this story :/
