Due to the plot I have in mind, I won't be able to cover the Shishitoren Arc. Since my oc has her own life after all.. So sorry if you were looking forward for the Shishitoren Arc >~<

P.S. if we are to follow the anime, this chapter would be in Episode 5 of the anime now. The day of the fight.

Previous Chapter:

"It's already been a year. I wonder where the others are right now." The faces of my friends suddenly appeared in my mind. "

Ahh.. I miss them." My eyes open as I stared at the ceiling. I tucked further into my futon, my mind wanders off to my former friends. Minutes passed by, I felt the drowsiness taking over my body and so, I closed my eyes once again and let myself succumb into the darkness.

The sun was out, the sky clear and no clouds in sight. It truly is a wonderful day. Though it could not be said the same to a certain black haired girl. In the bustling main street, there could be found a young girl, seemingly asking each store if they are in need of extra hands. By which I mean if they are hiring. Though every shop she went to turned her down.

Nonetheless, the young, blue-eyed girl continued on her journey, on the search of finding a job. But alas, no matter how hard she tried, it would seems like the people of Makochi Town are in no need of a new worker.. Even though some would be seen being helped by the students of Fuurin High.

Ah yes. The sun was out and not a single cloud could be seen. The clear and vast sky now open for wandering eyes to see. A perfect day to be out and about and hang out with friends. Yes. Such a beautiful day it is.

Mari's POV:

"Beautiful day my ass." I grumpily said as I walked down the street. Each step seeming to be heavier than the last. "Fine. If I can't find a job then I'll just keep pestering auntie until she let's me work officially at the restaurant." I huffed and crossed my arms.

"Ah~ all that work and for nothing." I stopped and sighed. My stomach now grumbling, indicating its want for food.

"Ngh.. Guess I'll just get some grub.. Ah! I know! Let's visit that cafe!" Now feeling hungry, I decided to forget my failed attempts and fill my belly with the omurice that I ate two days ago. "That shit sure was good"

The walk, surprisingly only lasted a few minutes as I didn't I was already near the area. As I opened the door, the bell rang, signaling my arrival at the cafe to those inside.

"Oh? Mari-chan? It's nice to see you again after that ordeal." Kotoha looked by my direction and greeted me with a smile.

"Mhm. Nice to see you as well." I greeted her back. "No one has been bothering you this past two days, yeah?" I asked her.

"Nope. Not a single one. Thanks for the concern though." She replied, wearing the same smile she gave me during our first meet.

"So what brings you here?" She questioned. "Surely you're not just here to ask about that." She said, with amusement in her voice.

"Heh~ How cruel~ I was also worried about you too, you know." I replied, joking around with her.

Kotoha just giggled at my answer. I went near the counter and took a seat and ordered some omurice.

"1 order of Omurice coming right up! Would you like to pair it with coffee or chocolate drink?" She said cheekily, amusement shone in her eyes, her voice, a dead give away that she was enjoying it.

I just gave out a small laugh. Finding it entertaining. "A cup of coffee would suffice, miss."

"Since when was the last time I was able to joke around with people near my age."

A memory suddenly popped into my mind.

~Flashback~

"Ne~ Mari-chan~ Are you even listening?" A voice of a girl said.

"Hm? Yeah. Yeah sure. I agree." Mari said, still not looking at the girl, too immersed in the book that she was reading.

"Hmph! So you agree with me going out with him? Huh?" The girl said, telling a different topic to get the uninterested Mari well, interested.

"Hah? Go out with who? Ah! Did you finally confessed to that boy you saw back in Roppongi?" Mari said, shifting her eyes to her friend.

"Boy? Roppongi?" The girl seemingly confused, but just in a matter of seconds, her face as bright as a cherry tomato. "HAH?!?! WHERE THE HECK DID YOU EVEN GET THAT IDEA?" The girl screamed, embarrassed as to what her friend had said.

"Oh.. you didn't? Bummer. I almost called Kazu to tell him the news." The blue eyed girl said, holding her phone to show the girl that she was indeed in fact, almost called 'Kazu'.

"?!?! WHY WOULD YOU EVEN DO THAT?!??!" The girl, getting flustered each second due to the teasing. "AND BESIDES... I don't even like him." Explained the still flustered girl.

"Heh~ Ya sure about that?" Mari said. Scrolling down on her phone, showing a picture of a girl and boy, hanging out together on the streets of Roppongi.

"Look.. You look so happy here~ Izu-chan~." Mari continued on with her teasing.

"MARI-NEE!!!"

~End of Flashback~

"Haaaa... Good old times." I whispered, chuckling at the memory before taking a sip of the freshly brewed coffee.

"Hm? Is there something wrong, Mari?" Kotoha asked. "Hm?", "You just smiled out of nowhere." Kotoha pointed out.

"Ah. I just remembered a little something from the past." I said, still smiling.

"Hmm.. Okay. Just tell me if you need something, 'kay?" Kotoha said before going back and washing the dishes.

I continued to sip my coffee and enjoy the peacefulness the places is giving.

"Ah btw, how is that Hanhan guy doing?"
