As the months passed since Utahis completed his trial, the bond among the cohort deepened further. With each of them completing their own trials. Jurt was sent to the Caves of Zarthan, a labyrinthine network known for its treacherous passages and deadly creatures. His task was to navigate the caves, retrieve a Zarthan crystal, an item used as a conduit for ancient sorceries, and return unscathed.

Niala's trial took place in the Forest of Shaha, a dark and enchanted forest where illusions and phantoms preyed on the mind. She had to find and retrieve the Seersstone, a gem that could only be found by those with clairvoyance and strength to confront their deepest fears.

Zalish was tasked with ascending the Cliffs of Kael'thar, a perilous climb that required not only physical strength but also precise control over his telekinetic magic. At the summit, he had to light an ancient, spiritually inclined brazier, commanding it to ignite once again using only his will. In an attempt to force the almost sentient brazier to bend to his will. A task that demanded focus, endurance, and an unyielding mental fortitude.

Kaiden's trial took place in the Arena of the Gortokaan, where he had to face a series of increasingly difficult combat challenges against formidable opponents. His task was to defeat them using a combination of his combat skills and strategic thinking. This trial tested his martial prowess, tactical acumen, and ability to adapt under fire.

Leisan was sent to the Ruins of Mor'drak, an ancient city filled with puzzles and traps. Her objective was to retrieve the Scroll of Elders, a document hidden deep within the ruins. This trial tested her intellect, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to remain composed in the face of unexpected dangers.

With each Acolyte completing their trials, almost dying in the process, their awakenings were complete. After almost a year of grueling training, being pushed and pushed to be made ready, they finally achieved the first step in their path to becoming true Talor. After the trials, they made steady progress in their respective disciplines. Leisan's combat prowess soared; however, she increasingly focused on honing her Ardorian Magics, blending her martial skills with potent arcane abilities as a Battle Mage.

Utahis continued to excel on his chosen path, establishing himself as arguably the finest swordsman among his peers at the Academy. His dedication and skill earned him respect and recognition among both instructors and fellow Acolytes.

Zalish's interest in politics and strategy blossomed, showing remarkable improvement. His keen intellect and strategic acumen made him a valuable asset in planning and decision-making within the group.

Naira's sharp wit and intelligence flourished, solidifying her position as the most cunning member of the cohort. Her insights and analytical skills proved invaluable in navigating challenges both inside and outside the Academy.

Despite their collective efforts, Jurt remained detached from the main group. Despite occasional attempts at reconciliation by the others, Jurt maintained his distance, preferring solitude or engaging in activities separate from the group dynamics.

Not only did their physical and magical abilities show marked improvement, but all members of the cohort had also developed an advanced understanding of Ardorian Magics. Utahis distinguished himself in the Elements of Flame and Lightning, mastering spells that enhanced his physical attributes like Talor Speed and Strength. When implemented in combat scenarios, it made him even more mighty than now 17-year-old was before. Zalish focused intensely on Telekinetic magic, effortlessly manipulating heavy objects. Meanwhile, Leisan specialized in Healing and Soul magics, becoming adept at both physical and spiritual restoration and manipulation. Kaiden expanded his skills in Physical alteration and Telekinetic magic, training closely with Utahis and Zalish. Naira's proficiency grew in Enchantment and Divination, weaving enchantments and peering into the future. Jurt, ever elusive, immersed himself in Illusion and Shadow magic, disappearing into shadows to refine his arcane abilities.
