KAIORI MUMBLED THE lyrics to Heartbreaker by Kaash Paige as she was in the kitchen—baking. She was a baker at heart, always has been and always will be. Baking was her passion, it truly brung her peace of mind, something she desperately craved. Kaiori needed peace of mind right now.
She has been staying over Kerion's house for about a month now, she was very adamant about getting her own apartment since she didn't want to be a burden. But he clearly expressed that he had no problem with her living with him for a bit. He didn't want her to be alone until she healed completely.
Speaking of healing, Kaiori finally accepted what happened. She wasn't in denial about the situation anymore, she accepted it and learned to deal with it.
She deleted everything that reminded her of him, starting with their pictures. It was a very difficult process and she kept bawling her eyes out the whole time. But of course, all of the boys were there to help her. She had no more pictures of him in her phone, she deleted and blocked his contact. She unfollowed and blocked him on all social media platforms and lastly what was the most difficult thing to do. She threw away her promise ring, a ring that was supposed to symbolize his promise to her that they would spend eternity together.
She really didn't want to do it at all. But she knew that keeping things that were from him would make her healing process more difficult than it already was.
It felt weird not to have a ring on her ring finger anymore, but she learned to get used to it.
She got used to him being gone, she got used to him living his life without her by his side.
She learned to let him go.
She didn't want to stay attached to someone that like Kevion said didn't give a fuck about her. She didn't want to keep crying over someone that cheated on her because she couldn't conceive. She wanted better things for herself, starting now.
" Tellin' lies lies lies lies straight to your face" She mumbled the lyrics of the song, as she took her red velvet cookies out of the oven. She smiled once she saw that they came out perfect, and gently placed the oven tray on the counter so the cookies could cool down before she could put the frosting on them.
She took a picture for her business page and turned off her phone.
Since she loved baking so much, Kaiori recently launched her own business: Sweetness. She sold everything sweet, cakes, muffins, cookies, everything. She had to take a little break since the whole Killian situation, but now she was focused on getting her money and getting her brand out there.
