(Nothing too important, just some casual moments in hogwarts, tehee)

Y/N'S POV

The morning light beamed between the cracks of my curtains as it lighted the dimly lit bedroom. The sunlight finally hitting across my face as my wake up call for the day, groaning in annoyance. I was never a morning person. Stretching my arms as it perfectly hits the headboard, hitting my knuckles making me groan in pain.

It took me a moment to collect myself before i could gather my own strength to sit up; rubbing my eyes to wake them up. Looking up to check the time and as expected, it was just as early as usual. It took me about a minute to push my legs out of the bed and stand up. Ready to start a freshly new week. Once i was done with my morning routine, i head out towards my office to finish some extra work (from the previous chapter when dear Y/N was punished for sneaking out of her job). Walking down at the empty corridors, not appreciating the excessive cold wind as the crispy air hits my face.

But as soon as i am at my office, i sighed in relief. Thankful that i am somewhere warm and comforting once more. Walking down as i head to my desk and sat down as a stack of papers that were either essays or assignments needed to be graded were everywhere, just waiting for me to finish them. I gave myself a moment to let out a deep breath and exhaled it heavily before settling onto my chair and began doing work.

As the day finally passed by, i was lucky enough to finish working by afternoon. I smiled proudly, giving myself a pat on the back.

Making sure that each pile of parchment paper is neatly tied into a ribbon before delivering it to the professors. Standing up with a long stretch, feeling my muscle's nerves ache for a moment due to many hours of sitting in one place. Picking up a few piles of papers and carried them as i set off to deliver them...

...After somewhat felt like hours and eternity, i have saved the last pile for someone as an excuse to spend time with them. It may sound unprofessional, but, can you blame me? Can you blame someone who is this delusionally in love? I guess not.

I happily skipped my way to the dungeons and to his classroom. Smiling and waving at the students as they left the potions classroom, assuming that they just finished their class. Smiling idioticly, as if i was an excited child whom thrilled to see their mother once more. Slowly pushing the dark wooden doors as i entered quietly, putting in mind not to interrupt Severus. Scanning the entire room as i found him at the front, hunched back to his desk, where he is usually located. I held the parchment papers close as i quietly went towards to his desk.

"Good afternoon Severus"

I greeted rather cheerfully than usual. His attention turned to the familiar sound, a bit startled at my sudden appearance but eased his tension once he realized it was only me.

"Could say the same thing. I assume you've finished your work for today?"

He commented, making small talk as he glanced at the oh-so familiar papers from his students that was now neatly graded. A thoughtful hum left beneath his monotone voice as he acknowledged my efforts.

"Thank you, Y/N. I'm proud that you are taking responsibility for your actions"

Calm down with the praises, i guess

A brief, subtle laugh i left at his remark as i sat opposite to him. Appreciating the comforting atmosphere of his classroom, it somewhat felt nostalgic, like the scent of potions and ingredients that are stocked away. I slumped my shoulders against the hard wooden chair as i rubbed my temples, a sense of distress coming through.
