#12. love

Year 850

—Day 10—

The preparation of the plan had begun, the commander of the Survey Corps had decided to not inform the rookies about the plan on capturing the suspected female titan except for Hoshino, Armin, Mikasa, Jean and Eren who were in it in the plan, instead he gave out a fake plan on helping Eren escape the Military Police where Shallie thought she will be taking part in. Currently, the rookies are now walking back to their dormitories after a long day of preparation, tomorrow they will be sent to Wall Rose under the supervision of Mike Zacharias to stay on standby in the meantime.

Hoshino stretched out her back and arms as she walked with her friends "I feel like my arms are about to fall off..." She whined, the rookies chuckling in response.

"Me too, I feel like I could eat a whole horse right now!" Sasha exclaimed like a hungry wild animal.

Armin held an awkward smile at Sasha's sentence "Well... Horses aren't really meant for eating, Sasha..."

Jean clicked his tongue, getting tired of Armin's rational mindset "It was a joke, Armin."

Hoshino just laughed at her friends' conversation "Does your back still hurt, Hoshino?" Connie then asked the black haired girl in concern which she nodded as a response, he sighed "It can't be helped, we did carry all those boxes of vertical maneuvers."

Sasha who had been listening the whole time then emerged from behind them "I know how to massage!" She exclaimed with so much enthusiasm which Hoshino heard.

The black haired girl looked back at her with surprise and relief, deciding that she needed that massage "Perfect! Can you massage my back later then? I'll go to your room!" She exclaimed at Sasha excitedly as her eyes beamed with joy making Bertholdt smile and chuckle at his girlfriend.

Hoshino had Connie and Bertholdt walking with her on each of her sides while Eren and Shallie walked in front of them. The boy was happily talking to the blonde girl about the titan experiments he had with Hange Zoe as Shallie listened eagerly to him with a genuine smile. Jean on the other hand who knew about Shallie's suspicions had a look of disbelief, he never would've guessed that they suspected her not until he was informed about the plan. His eyes softened as he watched her while she talked to Eren, she then suddenly looked back at Jean catching the boy off guard. As she realized that he was staring at her, she proceeded to smile at him and wave making Jean's heart skip a beat, he promptly smiled back, waving back at her.

As the rookies arrived in the dorms, Hoshino went to building 2 where Sasha's room was and it turns out that Connie's room was in the same building as well. And so Hoshino and Sasha started the massage session with Connie watching and talking to them about random things, he would joke around with the ladies most of the time but his attention was glued onto Hoshino and would sometimes accidentally make an eye contact with her which he would immediately look away.

After the massage session, Hoshino felt better than ever, the pain in her arms and back were gone and she had no one to thank for other than Sasha, she smiled at the brunette haired girl "Thank you, Sasha. You are a life saver!" She exclaimed at her which the girl just promptly laughed.

And so Hoshino walked away from the room with Connie who insisted on accompanying her to building 9 where Bertholdt's room is, he walked beside her as he stares at her with a smile, he happily chatted with her about a lot of things while she listened eagerly, enjoying his talkative mood. He smiled, knowing that she's listening "You know, Hoshino... You make me feel better about myself." He then suddenly told her.

Hoshino stared up at him in surprise, getting caught off guard by his sudden sentence "Connie... How come?"

"You always listen to everything that I have to say even if it doesn't concern you. That time at the wall when I protected you from the steam and it ended up burning me, you looked so horrified and worried about me. That just shows how good of a friend you are... And I realized just then how important I am to my friends." He told her while they walked across the hallway of rooms as he continued to stare at her eyes with his gentle look "You're beautiful and also kind, Hoshino. Bertholdt is lucky to have you."

Connie seemed to be calm as he was telling her those words but in reality, he was cursing himself on the inside. He felt stupid for letting himself tell Hoshino those things and making it obvious that he liked her, a bright red color crept across his face as he continued to stare at her with that flustered look.

Hoshino on the other hand widened her eyes, surprised by the boy's words. She didn't know how to react as she wasn't sure if he was confessing his love or just plainly complimenting her, she wasn't sure if she should say something or just keep staring at him with a surprised face, but there was one thing that she was sure of, is that their friendship wouldn't be the same anymore if she would have to reject him if he was really confessing his love to her. She doesn't want that to happen and she was scared that it might be the case.

She took her eyes off from Connie and stared at the ground while they walked "What are you trying to say, Connie?" she had a hurt look on her face as she asked him.

The boy had a disappointed look as he also took his gaze off her, paying attention on the way ahead of them "Nothing... Nothing in particular." He then answered her, refusing to tell the truth, he didn't want Hoshino to know at all "I was complimenting you that's all, I just miss my home and you had the same vibe with someone I know from my hometown."

As Hoshino and Connie arrived at building 9, Connie left after saying 'good night' to the girl, her eyes followed him until he completely disappeared from her sight. She vividly remembered what he had told her earlier, she wanted to believe that he wasn't confessing and she was relieved hearing him say that he was just complimenting her. And so, the girl walked inside the building and entered Bertholdt's room where she found the boy lazily slumping his body down on his bed. Hoshino chuckled at the sight before walking towards her boyfriend and jumped on top of him, almost giving the poor boy a heart attack.

"Hoshino! Don't do that!" Bertholdt exclaimed with visible tears on his eyes making Hoshino laugh more at her cute boyfriend.

She wrapped her arms around his neck while she was still on top of him, staring deeply into his eyes "I love you, Bertholdt." She then told him, catching him off guard.

Bertholdt was shocked at her sudden expressiveness but he knew his girlfriend all too well, whenever she acts like this, it's either that she wants something or she's craving for attention. And so he just smiled at her and placed his arms around her waist, pressing their bodies closer to each other as he buried his face on her neck "I love you too, but what is it this time? I know you, Hoshino." He whispered to her neck, sending her shivers. He then started planting soft kisses around her neck then to her lips before he leaned into her ear "Tell me, what do you want?" He whispered once again.

Hoshino's face was completely bright red as she felt their bodies warming up against each other, she merely wanted a cuddle but now that it has turned into this, she couldn't resist it. She wanted it. She panted as her heartbeat fastened before Bertholdt leaned in and kissed her on her lips, moving them in sync. They kissed passionately for seconds until they pulled away to gasp for air, and there Bertholdt gently grabbed her waist, flipping their positions so he's on top of her. He took his polo off, leaving him topless before he looked at her in the eyes, asking for permission and to his surprise, she actually nodded.

So he went on and kissed every part of her chest, sucking on her skin that left marks on them, he then fully took her shirt off which left her top with nothing but bare skin. This sight slowly aroused Bertholdt, his girlfriend naked under him, panting and blushing, she seemed to enjoy his touches making the boy feel proud of himself. And so he continued roaming his hands around his girlfriend's body, grasping her breasts, kissing her stomach and going back to kissing her lips. They made out for minutes until things escalated to an extent that they didn't expect.

They didn't see it coming as they just found themselves in a whimpering and moaning mess while they gave themselves to each other, letting pleasure take over them. They've been doing it for a couple of minutes to the point that Hoshino couldn't suppress her moans anymore, making Bertholdt cover her mouth with his hands to lessen her noises as he thrusts into her. As she felt herself coming, she called his name as she reached her limit, wrapping her arms around his neck. The boy then leaned down to her before taking his hand off her mouth and replacing it with his lips, kissing her deeply. He moaned in her lips as he did his final thrust, finishing it on her stomach before collapsing on top of her.

Bertholdt rolled over to lay down beside Hoshino as they panted in exhaustion "You did great... I love you..." he whispered to her and then threw the blanket over both of them, wrapping his arms around her while he stroked her hair and kissed her forehead before they went on and fell asleep.
