if i get to a point in my life
where i have to choose between my dream and love,
egocentric as it may seem,
i will not think twice to chase my dream.
i will say sorry and i might resent myself for hurting you,
the what ifs may haunt me forever.
but know that i have a dream before you
and i will be selfish over and over.
i will never stop apologizing if this happens to our relationship,
but i will also never let love go above my dream.
