The Verstappen family weren't as much fun as others but they were honest and they always looked out for one another. They had their own ways of doing things and didn't care what anyone thought about that.
Anneli Räikkönen had an interesting childhood. She'd grown up loved and adored by her parents, a step-mother and most of the Formula 1 grid. Born to Kimi Räikkönen, a Formula 1 world champion, meant she was in the media since birth and she'd grown up around the sport her entire life.
Her father and step-mother had always supported her in everything she did and Anneli owed her career to them. She'd been the second female to have full and success Formula 1 career, racing the majority of it for Red Bull. She'd taken a break due to an unexpected pregnancy that gave her a son, Aari, before she went back to racing. When she retired, she decided to go back in later life to be a Team Principal.
Max Verstappen had been love as a child but it was clear he had some trouble with his father when it came to his career. There was citations that were questionable but in the end, Max still had a great life once stepping into Formula 1. He had a long career, he was a multiple time world champion and never cared what anyone thought of him.
Except for one person; his wife. He'd married Anneli Räikkönen in 2027 and he'd never regretted it. He found her to be the most amazing person in the world, someone who was driven in what she did and honest at all times. He'd moved to Switerzland with her a few months before their son was born just because she wanted to.
Aari Verstappen was born on 2nd April 2026 in Zurich, Switzerland. He was English speaking since his parents didn't speak each other's languages fluently but it meant Aari was able to speak up Finnish from his mother, Dutch from his father, and German from school. He did well.
His parents had never pushed racing onto him...they'd done the opposite. They didn't want Aari to think that their careers meant he had to follow in their footsteps but he couldn't resist when he watched his mother race around the track and listen to Renée Leclerc tell him she planned on karting.
"Listen, if a Lawrence Stroll could keep his son employed...mum could have signed me!"
"Aari, even if your mum wanted to sign you, Lily has a contract until 2040 and Jones has one until 2048."
"The point is that mum could sign me if you wants to!" Aari Verstappen reasoned.
"Only if you show her that you are good enough to be signed," Max Verstappen added. "She won't sign you because you are her son and you know that."
