PAST THOUGHTS

                             CHAPTER THREE 

I woke up as early as possible and started preparing in order to make it In time to the palace.

I walked towards  my mirror in order to access myself and my  looks. 

I am not going to lie, I feel a little bit proud about my  looks.  I looked into  the depth of  my dull green eyes. I really have to say I appreciate my parents gene's even though we don't look alike. 

I have a very  fair skin and dark medium sized dreadlocks .when people see me walking they always ask me if I am an half-caste

but when I tell them I am from the eastern part of Nigeria they quickly believe me.

Because most  of us from the eastern part always have fair skin while few of us have different colors of eyes .

I brush a little bit of my falling hair from my face. I can't help but  hope that  Queen Adrienne likes me   even though I am not that tall. 

Everyone from my family is tall except me .I am the only one with a 5.2 height. And yes I love my petite stature ,as it has been an advantage for me . 

I looked at my breasts it was a little bit  big for my age,  but I don't mind as long as it compliments my slender figure eight shape and height 

As I finished appraising myself  in the mirror with  the outfits I chose. I quickly went out to my family sitting room in order to get my day started.

I saw my father and my mother watching the tv, with the  absence of my elder sister ruth.

Maybe she had already left  for the salon I thought to myself 

Good morning Mom good morning mom I said to my parents.

Good morning dear my mum answered and she turned towards me and asked. Are you leaving now for the palace?

Yes, I replied as I walked towards the door . When I get there I will call you. 

The queen is set to arrive today so I need to make the meals and also be presentable .

Should we come with you ?  Or is it just you and your sister that are needed in the palace her father asked her . 

Yes  father it just me and Ruth that is needed I answered him

Alright I better start going now I said to the both of them 

Please be careful, my mother said to me.

I will be careful mom, don't worry about me. I replied  her as I walked out the door .

The announcements continue throughout the beautiful airport of Toronto, Canada.

I stood up from my seat and stretched my long frame,  with the sound of cracks coming out from my body.
I could feel some of my muscles resetting themselves back .

With an elegant grace I started walking towards the boarding gate,  after showing the flight attendants my boarding pass I was quickly shown towards the VIP section .

As I was heading towards my session a crazy thought suddenly came into my mind
I could  have easily rented the whole plane if I wanted to  but I  chose not to.
Because Sometimes it feels good  to be a normal person for once and not a working royal.

I  accessed the session that I booked and was satisfied that , it will be suitable for my tall frame and height

I immediately put away my shoulder strap bag and accessories. I  then proceeded into getting comfortable for my  long flight .
