Chapter 5 : Flashback

“ Beta, didn't you like me? Why Are you removing me from my job?.” Milly asked worriedly.

 Raj and Veer looked at Nandini confusedly. While Manik erupted in anger. He starts coming downstairs fast to show Nandini her right place.

“ Yes, I'm resigning you from caretaker of this house. Because I'm giving you a new job, that is, to become the mother of this house. Kaki ,you are going to call yourself the mother of this house from now on.” Nandini said with a smile.

Everyone look her confusedly, even Manik who stopped at the stairs.

When Nandini saw everyone's confused faces, she said with a pout
“ Kaki caretaker job is to take care of family members like a mother takes care of her family. And you also raise Mr beast and veer bhai with altermost care like they are your own sons. So aren't you the mother of them and my mother in law in true sense?. So from now onwards you are going to refer yourself as the mother of this house. If I heard you calling yourself caretaker then I'm going to be angry with you okay. Now give me your blessings sasu maa. “ Saying this Nandini touched Milly's feet which Milly stopped in between and hugged Nandini tightly while crying. She never thought someone would respect her this much.

Milly lost her husband at an early age. She didn't have any kids. That's why she considers Manik and Mukti as her own kids but Neyonika doesn't like her presence near mukti. So Milly distanced herself from her but used to love Manik like anything. Then veer comes into her life and now she is taking care of veer and Manik as her own sons. But when Nandini says that she is their real mother and Nandini is her daughter in law, she isn't able to stop her tears.

While Manik, Veer and Raj looked at Nandini with admiration. Manik's heart swells with happiness seeing Nandini giving Milly the respect she deserves. He always wanted his wife to respect and love his loved ones. He always knows Nandini will respect Milly and veer but seeing in reality his heart is in some unknown peace. He looks at Nandini with a smile and leaves towards his room.

Milly kissed Nandini forehead and took her balaye and said “ Hayee main Sadkey Jawan, badi hi Soni kudi mili hai humare Munde Ko. Kyu Raj veer ji ?.”

(We have got the best girl for our Manik. Isn't it Raj bhai?)

Raj nodded happily. While Nandini looked at Milly excitedly and asked “ kaki it's Punjabi. Will you teach me Punjabi as I love this language a lot? Please. You know I always want to marry a Punjabi guy but look at my fate. Nevermind, please kaki teach me Punjabi. Pls.”

Hearing Nandini's words , everyone started laughing. Nandini looked everyone confusedly and asked “ did I say something funny?.”

Raj put his hand on Nandini's head and patted it. Then he says “ we are laughing because your wish to marry a Punjabi guy is fulfilled. We are Punjabi. So now you are Punjabi too. We will teach you Punjabi as much as you want beta.”

Nandini made a puppy face and said with a pout “ how would I know this? I'm so innocent na.”

Again everyone laughed. Then they chit chat happily while having dinner.

After hearing Nandini, Manik wanted to go to his room but he thought something and smirked evilly. Then turning backwards he came to the room to hear what was going inside.

“ Aunty, if I don't get married to manik then you better forget that you are going to get a penny from my dad.” Siya yelled loudly, making Manik smirk.

“ Siya calm down, only you will be his wife, trust me. I know Manik is doing a drama to show me that he can marry anyone to prove me wrong but in reality I know he can never do anything like this. Just trust me.” Neyonika said, trying to make her calm. As only Siya money can help her to grow her business or else she will come on roads Because she knows Manik and Raj are never going to help her.
