MANIK'S POV

"Now tell me why did you shout at me because I want to know my mistake?" she asks, taking a bite. She is currently sitting on my lap and feeding me dinner because I love eating food from her hand.

"Let me be, you forgave me, that what matters" I replied while nazing in her neck.

"No, I want to know.'' she asks adamantly. Her voice shows how determined she is that she won't stop until she finds out the reason

I take a deep breath and say "you remember I told you about the person who's leaking my company important information to other fashion houses?"

She nodded so I said further "I was worried for the same when I came home to find my important file. When I was unable to find it because you had placed it somewhere. I thought Neyonika had found that file, now I have to face another loss. So I took out my anger on you which was completely wrong because it was not your fault and I am very sorry for that."

I kissed her hands with guilt in my eyes. I want her to feel guilty for ignoring me and choosing Veer above me

Bingo Her face shows how guilty she is. I know exactly what she's thinking. Here I was under stress because of my company and on the other hand she was thinking of punishing me by making me jealous.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know that file was so important to you. I was serving lunch to bhai. That's why I... I thought you'd find it. I'm sorry..." she said with tearful eyes.

I smiled mentally and said sadly, making her even more guilty."Hey, hey don't cry baba, it's okay, I understand Veer was more important to you than that file or me. It was also my fault I shouldn't have yelled at you, I just got dependent on you which I shouldn't. Even when I did a lot of wrong to you in the past, you accepted me, that is enough for me. I know that I can never be anyone's priority. I don't know why I expect so much from you which I shouldn't. I knew you didn't accept me completely. I...."

She shakes her head vigorously while hugging me,"No, no you are misunderstanding everything. Veer bhai is not my priority but you are. He is my brother and you are my husband. You both have different places in my life. And I accepted you completely. Please don't think like that.I just need some time to forgive you for the way you married me, but don't think that you are not my priority because you are. It is your right to depend on your wife. I am sorry for not being able to give you the file. I promise that I will never repeat it again and you have already apologized several times for forcefully marrying me. So don't be guilty again"

I told her why I forcefully married her because she provoked me by saying the same words as Neyonika and I was afraid that no girl would love me because my girlfriend left me for my friend and cursed me. So I got scared and married her in fear.

It's true my namesake girlfriend chose my childhood best friend Nikhil over me, just because I refused to touch her and I wasn't even interested in her but using this story infront of Nandini helps me to gain her trust.

She started trusting what I said blindly and I also want the same. She should trust and love me so much that she should tremble at the thought of leaving me.

"Are we fine now?." She asks hopefully

I nodded and said Kissing her forehead "Yes Rose, now feed me I'm hungry."

"Oh hai."

Then we start having their dinner while laughing and teasing

After dinner, I stood up and forwarded my hand to her, she saw me in confusion.
