Athena and Apollo stepped in to the small mini mart, seeing an older guy eyeing the pizza that was displayed in front of him. "just go get your snacks, let me know when you're done, okay?" Athena told Apollo, making him nod in response.

Athena loved visiting the mini mart. she'd be here almost all the time, wether it was before school, or for movie snacks, she would visit this place often. The girl walked to the fridge isle, looking for Diet Pepsi.

"Apollo?" She peeked around the aisle after grabbing her drink, bumping into another person, making them drop their item. she mumbled an apology as she held the small pink bottle, assuming it was medicine, and handed it back to the person.

"uh, it's fine." The boy said, shyly smiling as he held the small pink bottle. "it's- it's for my grandma." He said as Athena gave him a small smile. he looked about her age, had braces on, tall and skinny, also brunette.

"Thea, I got the last pack of gummy bears!" Apollo chuckled as he ran into the pair. "I'll see you around," she paused, waiting for him to give her a name. "Miguel." He gave her a lipped smile.

She smiled back. Athena and Apollo started walking over to the counter, waiting for the guy to finish paying for his pizza. "can you put that on a plate?" He asked rudely. the cashier sighed as he started looking for a plate, holding the pizza with his bare hand.

Miguel smiled at the older guy, "My grandma's not feeling well." he held up the small pink bottle he previously showed Athena. "Didn't ask." The older guy eyed Miguel. "Come on what's Spanish for 'just give me my damn slice'?"

The cashier insulted him in Spanish as he let out a soft chuckle, making Miguel slightly grin. Athena tried to hide her own smirk, understanding his remark.

"what did you just say?" The older guy said, furrowing his eyebrows. "What did he say?" He asked Miguel. "you don't wanna know." Miguel said, shaking his head, still having that small smirk on his face.

"I know it's something bad, just tell me." The older guy said to Miguel. "He said you have a tiny penis, can you just hurry up?" Apollo said in annoyance from behind Miguel and the older guy, earning a smack to his forearm from Athena.

"he said I have a tiny wang?" He looked at the cashier. "tell him he has a tiny wang." "I speak english, asshole." The cashier said, still holding the guy's pizza.

"oh, really." The older guy said before slamming his money on the counter and grabbing his pizza from the cashier's hand. as the older guy left, the cashier started ringing up Athena and Apollo's items.

"you know that guy?" Athena asked as she was getting her cash from her front pocket. "yeah, sort of..." Miguel answered as she paid for her things, Apollo holding the small bag that carried their items.
