the moment of realization

Eleanor's Perspective:

Monday morning came with its usual rush. Eleanor Hawkins stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her blouse, her mind already on the week ahead. She had a full schedule of classes, meetings, and a pile of essays to grade. But what lingered at the forefront of her thoughts was Blair Rose.

Eleanor couldn't quite pinpoint when her feelings had shifted from concern to something deeper. Maybe it was the sincerity in Blair's eyes when she thanked her in the park, or the way her smile seemed to light up the room.
