I woke up to my ringtone blaring in my ears. Who is it this Early morning? I picked it up and rubbed my eyes sleepily
"Hello"
"Ava Martini, didn't you say 10am? It's already 12pm Missy" huh? I checked the time and it was....
"Is it fun messing with me and my sleep Sofia?" She laughed
"Yep, anyway I need your help. I need to pick a dress for graduation and I want someone to shop with"
"Sofia....today is Friday. Can't this wait till tomorrow? On a non-working day?"
"No and plus you also need to take the day off once in a while. Don't you have anything that you want to buy?" Her question made me pause....well....
"Okay fine. I'll see you in front of the mall in 30 minutes"
She cheered "Yay!! You're the best I love you" I shook my head with a smile and ended the call. I stepped out of my clothes and entered the shower. I do have to buy a new dress for tomorrow evening. I stepped out of the shower a few minutes later and changed into a simple floral dress. I paired it with my strapped sandals and took my bag with my phone inside locking the door behind me. After making sure the bakery was locked, I hailed a cab to the mall.
As soon as I got out of the cab, Sofia was standing there smiling widely. Just how excited is she? I paid for the fare and walked towards where she stood
"I know I said come early but wow....this is a first" she held my arm and we started walking into the mall
"That's because graduation is coming and you know how indecisive I am when it comes to dress shopping so I figured we should start early" I smiled
"I see, well whichever side of the bed you slept on you should keep it up" she stuck her tongue out at me and we entered the dress boutique
"So what are you coming to buy today?"
"Don't know yet. I need a new dress for my date tomorrow"
"Ah your date alright we can.....wait...." she looked at me and I smiled sheepishly. She shook her head smiling "No wonder you agreed to come so quickly. If that's the case, can I help?"
"If you don't help who's gonna help me?" I asked lightly pinching her cheeks. Just then one of the shop attendants walked up to us smiling
"Welcome to Enchanted Threads....oh, it's you guys; Sofia and Ava"
"Hi Miss Eva it's been a while"
"It has. So what occasion are we dressing up for today?" Sofia went forward and held Miss Eva's hand
"I have a graduation but your other daughter here....she's got a date!!" I internally facepalmed, just what am I going to do with this girl? Miss Eva smiled and directed us to the left side of the store.
"Okay I have the perfect suggestions for the both of you. Who would like to start first?" Sofia raised her hand handing her bag to me
"I'll go. After me we'll carefully choose my bestie's own" I smiled and sat in front of the changing rooms. She took the dresses from Miss Eva's outstretched hand and entered the changing room. After a few minutes she called out
"I'm coming out" she stepped out in the first dress
