Daphne swayed on her feet, frozened in shock as she sees they're home is burning in flames.
Her mother sees her frozen "Daphne take all of our belongings outside of the house!!" She shouts while coughing.
Daphne snaps back and quickly took all of the belongings that is left and rushes out of the house, with her mom who also brought the rest of the belongings with her.
They both watched they're home burned in ash, while the firefighter shoots water.
"What are we going to do now mom"
Daphne said.
Her mother looks at her "We need to find your father" she told her.
Daphne was surprised that first time in years her mother mentioned her father.
"My dad I thought he died in some sort of baking accident?"
"I lied honey your dad didn't die infact he,s perfectly alive and is a millionaire"
Daphne,s mouth drop at what she had learned about her father it's like a drama in tv shows that the protagonist lost parent is rich.
"My biological dad is a fricking millionaire"
she asked to her mother.
Her mother rolled her eyes "Yes, I already said stupid" annoyed that she just repeated the answer.
"Derick...I mean Daphne prepere our stuff we are going to manila" She orders Daphne.
After the fire fighter extinguished the fire, they decided to go to manila, and stay for a bit in her mother's cousin place while looking for her father.
While they are waiting for the ride to go to manila.
"Off topic mom but how did you meet dad??" Daphne asked to her, anticipating an answer.
Her mother looked at her and said.
"We'll it's all started when I was working in one of the factories his father owned"
"Wait his father, so it's a family dynasty?"
"yes it's a dynasty thing" Her mother replied.
Daphne is shocked again with this new information that she continue learning about.
"So I was working one day and your dad and grandfather came for a visit in the factory and was reviewing it's state.

"Wow what a romantic first meeting mom" Daphne sarcasticly said.
Her mother flips her hair "Well DUH I'm super pretty back then you know, anyone will fall for me" she replied to her.
The two of them laughs.
"and then after that he comes up to me and asked my name, and of course I did tell him, and he complimented it and also my beauty"
"We became what you teens called it, oh yeah MU. We keep talking to each other, and it blooms to love"
"After that what happened?" Daphne asked.
Her mother continues to talk "I later found out that he was already married"
"Wait so you became a mistress?"
"We're but yeah I kinda did"
"Oh my god mom why didn't you check if he had a wife"
"because I didn't really care, and I was on cloud 9 thinking I found my soulmate. But I did confronted him, and he apologize and said he was forced to marry his wife and he didn't love her"
"Oh so that's why"
"Yeah and after that I resigned my job and leave him because I don't want to be a mistress but then I found out I was pregnant and had you"
"Wow" Daphne whispered "your love life is something else mom"
"Indeed it was but I didn't regreted it I had you my beautiful child"
They both hug each other.
