She played the whole hour screaming about how her teammates are stupid, but good for her, she managed to clutch everyone on her team. She defeated her opponent with a sniper, and she hid very well. The other team was unable to track her location and was just pure shit at the game.

Kalista couldn't deal with this poser anymore. She actually followed Narumi Gen on her burner account; she calls him Mr. Stylish because he is hella fine and has a great sense of style. She loves his hair, and she was also planning to get hers done like him.

She stalks Gen's account from time to time; he was chronically online. The headlines are about him and his work. Kalista knew that many people wanted to be Gen because he is the strongest and the No. 1 anti-kaiju. Another reason she follows him and stalks him is because she wants to know her opponent's power; kaiju and anti-kaiju don't mix well in this world.

Kalista is dead asleep, refusing to get up from her bed.

"What happened there? " It was straightforward and pressuring for Kalista's side. But being an idol, she's fluent in lying.

"Well, everything was kind of blurry, to be honest. I arrived in the area, seeing how the Honju was back on its feet once again. I was scared, but I kept myself composed. Earlier in that incident, I immediately felt something was off. It was itching at the back of my brain." She looked down to her palm, trying to look vulnerable; she couldn't mess up since the person she's fooling is a commander and one of the most powerful anti-kaiju in Japan. With one wrong move, she'll be turned into a weapon.

"I did my everything to keep Shinomiya and me from dying. Thankfully, me and Shinomiya went hand in hand to fight the resurrected Honju. It was so hard. I felt like dying on the spot." She puts her hand on her forehead and on her chest, dramatically looks up, and has twinkling tears in her eyes.

She can't leave the place without her rightful recognition. And she basically saved her brother's ass from being caught.

She knew that Ashiro was still skeptical about Kalista's story, but since Shinomiya's story and her story matched, she believed her. Ashiro left the room. It was Kalista's pure luck that she and Shinomiya had the same alibi.

'Shitt that was so close'

Kalista is also thankful to Shinomiya for lying for their sake. 'That's just future me's problem, I'll just live my best life and struggle later.' She grabbed her phone to order 3 burgers, 4 fries, and 2 coffees from Popeyes.
