The air in the secret base was filled with excitement and the buzz of whispers. Today was a special day for the team, but it was even more special for one member in particular-Wally West. The speedster had no idea what was about to hit him.

The team had gathered around the central area, hiding behind various pieces of furniture and pillars, waiting for the right moment. You stood beside M'gann, holding a small but well-decorated box in your hands, trying to contain your own excitement.

"Shhh, he's coming!" whispered Robin, peeking around a corner.

The doors slid open, and Wally strolled in, his usual confident smirk on his face. He paused, sensing something was off, just as the lights flickered on.

"SURPRISE!" everyone yelled, jumping out from their hiding spots.

Wally's eyes widened in shock and then lit up with joy. "Oh, man! You guys!"

M'gann floated forward, a large cake in her hands, its surface glowing with candles. The rest of the team gathered around, clapping and cheering.

"Happy Birthday, Wally!" she said, setting the cake down on the table.

Wally approached the cake, eyes wide. "Wow, this is awesome. Thanks, everyone!" He glanced around, clearly touched by the effort put into the surprise.

You stepped forward, a bit nervous, holding the box a little tighter. "Happy birthday, Wally," you said softly, handing him the box.

He took it, his grin widening. "Thanks, Y/N! This means a lot."

He tore the wrapping paper with his usual speed and opened the box, revealing a small, intricately designed keychain shaped like a lightning bolt. His eyes sparkled. "This is so cool! Thank you!"

The team watched, pleased with his reaction. As the cake was being cut and handed out, Wally's gaze met yours again. There was a playful glint in his eyes.

"You know," he began, leaning slightly closer, "there's just one more thing I need to make this birthday perfect."

You raised an eyebrow. "And what might that be?"

"A birthday kiss," he said, half-joking, half-hopeful.

You felt your cheeks warm as the team looked on, some chuckling, others smirking. Taking a deep breath, you stepped forward and stood on your tiptoes, planting a quick, soft kiss on his cheek.

Wally froze for a moment, his expression a mix of surprise and delight. Then he broke into a wide grin. "Best birthday ever," he declared.

The team cheered and laughed, the atmosphere light and joyful. As the evening continued with stories, laughter, and games, Wally couldn't stop glancing your way, his smile never fading.

You knew this would be a birthday he'd never forget, and you couldn't help but feel happy knowing you were part of the reason why.
