M'gann M'orzz had been on Earth for only a short while. Everything was new to her: the culture, the people, the food. She was part of the Young Justice team now, and despite her initial nervousness, she quickly found herself bonding with her new teammates. One of the closest bonds she formed was with you, a fellow young hero who had also just joined the team. From the moment you met, there was a mutual understanding between you and M'gann. You were both new to this world of superhero missions and team dynamics, and you quickly became each other's anchor.
One day, after a particularly challenging mission, you both sat in the lounge area of Mount Justice, recovering and talking about the day's events.
"I can't believe how different Earth is from Mars," M'gann said, her green fingers nervously fidgeting with the hem of her skirt. "Sometimes it feels like I don't quite belong here."
"You belong here, M'gann," you reassured her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "You're part of this team, and you're amazing. Don't let anyone make you feel otherwise."
Her eyes softened, and she gave you a grateful smile. "Thank you, Y/N. That means a lot to me."
Just then, the alarm sounded, indicating an intruder in the vicinity. You both jumped to your feet, ready to defend your home. As you reached the training area, you saw a shadowy figure moving swiftly through the shadows.
Without hesitation, you and M'gann moved in sync, your training and bond guiding your actions. You tackled the intruder from one side while M'gann used her telekinesis to pin them against the wall.
"Who are you? What do you want?" you demanded, your eyes blazing with determination.
The intruder struggled, but M'gann's mental grip was too strong. "I was sent to test your defences," he sneered. "But it seems you've passed the test."
Before you could question him further, he activated a smoke bomb, filling the room with a thick, choking fog. You coughed, trying to clear your vision, but M'gann grabbed your hand, guiding you out of the cloud.
Once outside, you both leaned against the wall, catching your breath. "Are you okay?" M'gann asked, her concern evident in her voice.
You nodded, giving her a reassuring smile. "Thanks to you. We make a good team, don't we?"
She smiled back, her eyes twinkling with relief. "Yes, we do. And no matter what, I'll always have your back."
"And I'll have yours," you promised. "Always."
As the smoke cleared and the rest of the team arrived, you and M'gann stood side by side, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. In that moment, you both knew that no matter how new and uncertain the world might be, you had each other to rely on.
