I sat up in bed, head hurting and stomach churning. "I don't feel so good..." I muttered, before getting out of bed to head downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen to grab me a cup of water. I sipped on it lightly, in case I irritated my stomach even more. "What are you doing up, darling?" My husbands voice questioned from the opening to the kitchen.

"I don't feel so well, that's all. I thought water would help." I reply, before feeling sick and running to the bathroom. Kneeling on the ground in front of the toilet, I threw up.

This continues for 5 weeks...everything I took to make me feel better wasn't working until my husband suggested I take a pregnancy test.

"I can't be pregnant-" He cut me off. "Just take the test." I look at him then the pregnancy test. Sighing, I took it and went to the bathroom.

With the test on the counter, I waited for a few moments. Walking around the bathroom anxiously, returning to the bathroom counter I looked at the test. My eyes went wide, two lines meant positive, right?

I couldn't believe it. "Baby?" My voice quivered. "The test says positive..." My husband came in the bathroom with me, excited at the thought of having a child, but the look on my face soured his mood.

"What's wrong, my love?" I turned to look at him. "It's not that I don't want the child, it's the opposite. My job or more like my boss, isn't gonna let me take a break. What do I do?"

"First off, dear, why are you working anyway? You don't need to make money, I do that already. We live in a mansion." He reminded me.

"I didn't want to feel like a burden or a gold digger." I say. "Oh, honey...you could never be a burden, not when you're carrying my child. And a gold digger? Someone told you that you were a gold digger? Am I right?"

I nodded, "it was Mars, wasn't it?" I nodded again. Keith sighed, "Seriously, stop listening to a word that girl says. She's just jealous of what she doesn't have because she's going around the neighborhood being a town bicycle, being knocked up by every guy, even the married ones."

"But you're not like she is, you're not broke like she is. You're better that how she is and you have a rich husband." I smiled at his somewhat comforting words.

"You don't like her, do you?"

"No. I don't but I won't stop you from being friends with her, that's not my business. But what is my business is making you quit your job, because you don't need it." He spoke again before I could get anything out.

"You married a CEO, who runs a very successful business. You do not need a job, what you need is to rest, to be perfect as you are, and to spend my money on baby stuff."

"Now go lay down, I'll get some food. What do you want?" He followed me out of the bathroom, making sure I actually got into bed.

"How about..." I thought for a second. "Wendy's?"

"Alright. You stay here and sleep. I'll wake you up when I get back." He walked out before I could say anything.

I closed my eyes, thinking about my husband. Oh, what a man he is.
