I walked through the front door, locking it behind me. Placing my keys on the kitchen island.
I spotted me and my wife's wedding picture. I walked over to look at the picture. "My wife has a gorgeous smile." I say to myself, putting the picture back down.
I walked up stairs with Wendy's bag in hand. Upon reaching our room, I saw my wife in all her beauty.
I set the bag down on our dresser, walking over to her side of the bed. I gently shook her awake. "Darling, i have your Wendy's. Perhaps you'd like to enjoy it while it's still hot?"
I saw her open her eyes slowly, rubbing the sleep from them, and sitting up. "Wendy's? Already?" She asked confused.
"Yes. I couldn't have you and our little one starve because I was taking to long, i wouldn't want that." I handed the bag to her.
_________________________________The chatter of the people next us, baby's crying and whatnot as we went baby shopping. Some might say it's a little to early to go baby shopping, but it's good to be prepared right?
After last night, me and my husband went to sleep. So after awakening Keith proposed the idea to go shopping, we did and ran into Mars and her short-term boyfriend.
"Baby shopping? You're pregnant?! I thought you were gaining weight last time I saw you, thought you were eating to much..." My husband glared at Mars from where he was behind me at her comment. "Clearly, getting pregnant seems to be a feat you don't have. After all the men you've slept with it'd be a surprised if you weren't."
Keith shot back in hopes of defending me. "I wonder, does your mother know about all the men you have saved in your contacts? Saying how they'll pay you an extra $100 bucks for a lap dance and more?"
"I bet she doesn't, so it would be a shame if someone told her, no? She'd be devastated." Mars had no words, her short-term boyfriend long gone after Keith's comment about all the men in her contacts.
Mars had stutter trying to defend herself, opening and closing her mouth. "If you don't that getting out to your mother or worse, your whole family. I would suggest you keep my wife's name out of your mouth." He gently lead me away from Mars, leaving her alone in the food isle.
"I'm so sorry, love. I tried to keep a level head but I just couldn't when she made that comment..." I put a finger on his lips. "It's okay. You did what you thought was best to defend me. I thinks it's better if I cut her off, she's made comments about my weight before, saying how underweight I was, how overweight i was. I never noticed how much she trample over me like a doormat, but I do now."
"Let's get back to shopping." I say. "It'll help take your mind off of her for a while, seeing as you're excited for the baby."
"Speaking of, I saw the most cutest baby onesies in the baby clothes!" Keith says, leading me to the isle, point out which ones to get if the baby was a boy or a girl.
He's going to be a great dad, I can feel it.
