MUNIRA'S POV

"Hurry up love" Hisham's voice came from outside. It is now a week after our wedding and today was the day we were going to make visits to our parents, aunties and uncles houses as per tradition.

"I'm coming" I yelled. I hurriedly put all the necessary items in my hand bag and went down to meet him. "Lets go" I told him as I wore my shoes and went out to the garage after him.

"You know you take so long to get ready right?" he said. "I know, I am a lady after all we have to look good and not to mention I am seeing your family today" I replied.

"Love, you always look good in anything and I know you are nervous about meeting my family, but I promise they are all nice and love you too, so please calm down" Hisham said his face pinched with concern for me.

"Okay, but I feel nervous nonetheless, and I am also scared of what they will say and think about me knowing what happened, I feel pressured and I feel like I am going to faint" I said my eyes glassy with unshed tears.

"You have nothing to worry about inshaallah, all is well and please about what happened, Munira it is QADR and it was meant to happen, it was not your fault" Hisham said as he pulled me into a comforting hug and wiped my tears. "All will be well, you will be well love" he added.

"Thanks" I said with a small smile. Hisham then started the car and we zoomed of.

We arrived at my parents house in 45 minutes. As soon as he parked the car, I rushed out of the car and went in through the back door.

I was suddenly pulled into a hug by my sisters, I laughed and told them to release me. "Ashe dai you guys miss me kam, see how you are hugging me as if you did not see me a week ago" I teased.

"I do not miss you, I am just welcoming you in a sisterly way" Sumayyah said but we both knew that she missed me and me her.

"Wlh ya Munira I miss you so much" Amina said her eyes getting misty. "Haba, don't cry mana" I said.

I went up to mama's room after that to inform her about my arrival. "Mama!!!!!!" I hugged her as I entered the room. "Ke you want to break my bones neh wai" mama teased with a smile.

"How are you? How was your first week? Is he treating you well? Are you happy?" mama bombarded.

"Calm down mama everything is fine, and alright" I assured her. "Did you come together?" mama asked. It was then I remembered that I came with Hisham.

"Yes mama" I said sheepishly. "You foolish girl" mama smacked my arm. "oww".

Mama wore a big veil and went out, I followed after her knowing she was going to meet Hisham.

"Mama ina wuni" Hisham squatted to greet her. "Lafiya Hisham, tashi daga kasa" mama answered.

"I hope this idiot is treating you well?" she asked. "Mamaaa" I whined. Hisham was chuckling and when I glared hard at him he stopped but was clearly holding it in.

The maids then brought in some refreshments for Hisham. As soon as the scent of the samosas hit my nose, I felt bile rising up my throat. I ran to the guest bathroom.

I was puking as I a hand was rubbing my back and I knew who it was by the firmness of the hand and the familiar comforting scent of my husband, Hisham.

As I was done, I rinsed my mouth and Hisham pulled me to his chest, my eyes clouded with tears as I was now realizing what was wrong with me, I really hope I was wrong.
