"NAYEON, wake up!" Jihyo's voice pierced through the early morning fog in my brain. I had answered her call earlier in the morning and fell asleep while she was talking about the updates of the upcoming school bazaar.

I groaned, rolling over to the other side of the bed, covering my face. "Leave me alone."

"It's time for the student council meeting," she sang, her cheerfulness is aggravating. How can anyone be a morning person? "You're the president, remember?"

Blinking the sleep from my eyes, I glanced at the clock on my nightstand. "It's seven in the morning," I protested. "Can't we start a little later?"

Jihyo laughed. "You're the one who scheduled it, Nayeon."

I sighed and pushed myself out of hed and began my morning ritual. I needed to be perfect in front of everyone because that is what they expect from me. After taking a bath and dressing up in our uniform, I ate breakfast with mom and dad and rode the bus to school.

Jihyo greeted me by the gate and told me that the other members of the student council were already waiting for us.

"Morning, sunshine," Seokmin, the council treasurer, greeted me with a smirk, noticing my less than enthusiastic expression.

"Cut it out," I muttered, taking a seat beside Yeri, the council secretary. She looked up from her phone and gave me a knowing smile. They knew me too well—I was a night owl who thrived on the energy of the late hours, not an early bird.

The council room is soon filled as the other officers entered the room. They also looked like they just woke up.

"Alright, let's get to business," I announced once everyone had settled in. "We've got the charity bazaar to plan and the new student orientation to organize."

Jihyo nodded, her hair bouncing slightly with the motion. "I've already made a list of potential booths and sponsors for the bazaar, she said pulling out her clipboard. "And Yeri and Seokmin has been working on the orientation program."

Seokmin leaned back in his chair, sipping his coffee. "It's going to be epic," he promised. "We're planning an international food festival and a talent show."

Jihyo's eyes lit up. "Oh, and don't forget the cultural exchange booths!"

We all exchanged a look of excitement. These events were more than just part of our responsibilities; they were our legacy, the memories we would leave behind at Seoul International School.

The meeting continued and we talked about the sponsorships. The school board had promised to assist us in reaching out to companies that can help this bazaar to be a success.

"Let's prioritize eco-friendly companies," I suggested, and everyone nodded in agreement. "We can have booths that promote reusable products, organic food, and even showcase some sustainable fashion brands."

The discussion grew more animated as we threw ideas around. The potential costs were estimated, and Seokmin assured us that with careful planning, we could cover the expenses without burdening the school's budget.

"And for the talent show," Jihyo began, her eyes gleaming with excitement, "I've got the perfect playlist that'll get everyone hyped! Seungcheol and I can handle it."
