The Chief's Daugther

A Week Away With Kelly.

Maxime p.o.v

Today kelly and I are going for a week away from all the hustle and bustle of Chicago so we are going to his father's cottage in Galena, when I have almost everything I still sit with a sense of guilt

"Honey come we really have to go now or it will be super busy on the road and I want to be able to avoid it" says kelly as he walks into the bedroom

"yes am ready let's go" I say and put the suitcases in the trunk and then we get in and drive to the cottage

When we arrive at the cottage, kelly opens the door and we bring all the stuff inside

"Do you want to chop some wood for the stove or should I?" asks kelly to me

"You do it but I'm going to see if I can find some pans for cooking " i say while going inside and when i Have found some pans i make some spaghetti with meatballs, when i am Done i go outside

"Baby are you coming inside? Dinner is ready" i say to Kelly

"Yeah i am coming help me carry Somthing of these logs inside" Kelly says and we walk inside

"oh baby what is it romantic inside" Kelly says

"We haven't spend much time together so i thought make it romantic" i say to Kelly

And then we enjoy dinner together and we clean up

And then I say "Shall we go for a walk and when we come back from our walk we'll make a campfire with some marshmallows?" I suggest

"yes let's do that" Says kelly and then we both grab a jacket and kelly closes the cottage and we walk hand in hand a good bit

"your dad calls you all the time pick up" says kelly a little irritated to me

"I'll call him back tomorrow, now please let's enjoy the evening" I say to Kelly as we walk back to the cottage

And then kelly lights the campfire and I grab everything for smores to make

We spent the rest of the evening enjoying each other's company here and there giving each other a kiss and chatting bit about the future

"would you like to get married again after your previous engagement?" asks kelly to me

"Certainly the previous engagement was a very big mistake, I almost reported abuse, but my dad doesn't know anything about it and I want to please hold on to that, i will tell him some day but not now" i say

"hey your secret is safe with me, shall we just go to bed, tomorrow casey and brett are coming over so I brought some games" says kelly

"Thanks kelly" i say

"i love you too" says kelly as he presses a kiss to my forehead and then go inside and kelly locks the door and we fall asleep.

Kelly p.o.v

The next morning I wake up to maxime hanging on the phone with her father

"No dad why are you suddenly talking really bad about kelly now, if you keep acting like this then I have no choice but to cut off contact with you" says Maxime as she sits down on the sofa

"he wants to talk to you" says Maxime as she hands me her phone

"Chief" I say and then get over the fact that I didn't ask him first if he was okay me asking his daughter to move in with me.

And then he hangs up and i go look for maxime

"Baby where are you?" i call out and find her by the lake

"Why can't he be happy for us?" maxime asks me

"i don't baby we are gonna make it work with the help from your dad or without it" i say while i take her in my arms.

Casey p.o.v

After brett and i are done with the shift we head straight out to the cabin but just i wanna start the enige, the Chief hops in

"Don't mind me i am going to talk with my daugther because i messed up" the chief says

When we arrive at the cabin, i see the love birds sitting at the edge of the lake

"he love birds we are here" brett yells and see them walking towards us , and Maxime Freezes

"come we give them some time" says kelly and he then shows our room we are staying here for 2 days and the rest they are alone again.

Wallace boden p.o.v

We are sitting by the lake

"Why are you so suddenly blunt about kelly he treats me like a Princess like I'm the only woman in his life" says Maxime to me

"I don't know either, you're still my little girl and I don't want to see your heart broken again like that incident with eddie" I say as I take her in my arms

"dad that's not going to happen we will have a fight sometime and I'll come back home but it's time for me to solve my own problems" she says cuddling me back.

After a while we walk back to the other three

"You are'nt staying for dinner Chief " Kelly asks me

"No i need back at home terrance wants not to sleep" i say

"let me drive you home" Kelly says and i nod my head

On the way back to chicago we speak a bit

"Kelly i am so sorry i reacted this way i just wanna look out for my little girl, i know she is Your whole world and is save with you" i say to him

"It's Alright chief" Kelly says and when he pulls out in front of my house

"let donna face Time terrance with Maxime maybe then he falls asleep?"Kelly says and then drives back to the cabin where his Princess waits for her Prince.

Back inside i give Donna a kiss and suggests what kelly say to me and it worked.
