"I guess you never know, never know. And it's another day waking up alone."
~*~*~
Jack had a couple days off before the game tonight. We spent them roaming around in public in order to be seen. So far so good. We've gotten quite the positive reaction from our dating announcement.
I was expecting more of an uproar from his fans. I know there are more than a few women and girls out there that would love to claw my eyes out but for the most part people have been so kind. It's weird for me to get stopped on the street without Jack because half the time it's about my book and the other half it's about him.
This time, as Noelia and I stand in line for concession, it's about Jack. I don't mind people coming up to me. It's really not a bother. Although I don't know how they recognize me because I'm not wearing Jack's jersey. The thought made me a little nervous so I decided to opt out this time. We have been standing here for awhile waiting for our food to be done.
The game is starting in about 30 minutes and we were craving something to eat. Before I got into this fake relationship with Jack I had no idea how it would work with me going to games. I assumed I'd have to buy my own tickets and hope for the best when it came to seats.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the wives and girlfriends get their own small section. The seats are in the perfect area and I'm loving this relationship and the perks it comes with more and more.
"So, Sam told me about the yoga."
'What!" I whip my head around to face Noelia. She has a smirk on her face as she teases me.
"Jack told Sam what happened so obviously Sam told me."
"Oh yeah? What did he say then?"
Our conversation takes a pause as our names were called for food. We gather everything we need and head towards our seats. Once we are settled Noelia starts talking about what Jack told Sam. As much as I don't want him telling people things I can't blame him because Noelia is to me what Sam is to him. He's a good friend for Jack and I could never be angry at Jack for confiding in someone.
"Honestly, he just told him that it brought up a bunch of feelings he didn't realize he had."
Rolling my eyes I toss a handful of skittles into my mouth. "Bunch of feelings my ass. The only thing he felt was a hard dick."
She turns to me with a raised brow. "No seriously, Len. He told Sam about your." She leans in to whisper in my ear. "Fake relationship. Sam knows everything."
"Everything, everything?"
She nods in response. "Yes, he knows every little detail so I wouldn't ignore the whole feelings comment."
"Well actually I'm going to ignore it as hard as I can. I just did what I did because he was pissing me off. If he felt anything then it came from a horny haze, not from genuine feelings."
