Elizabeth points her gun towards the empty hallway. Her shaky hands raise the gun up and then back down at every turn she takes.

A loud bang startles her. The noise is coming from the staircase opposite her. A large black shadow sneaks up the wall. Her heart skips a beat with every breath she takes.

A gun turns the corner and is set upon Elizabeth. She lifts her gun higher and aims. Pulling the trigger shuffles her back a bit. "Fuck" the man shouts as he stumbles back a few steps. His eyes glance down at the red spot now covering his chest.

"Amelia you bastard." Theo shouts holding the red patch. "Grow a pair Parker, it is red paint." Her eyes roll as she places the paint ball gun on the small console table next to her.

"Why did you need to shoot me ?" Theo asks as he watches her place down the gun. "Why do you need to ask me all these annoying questions?" A smile forms on her face. His eyes explore her in her uniform. "Stop staring at my officer detective, it is creepy." Captain Martinez says walking past. Hearing this makes Amelia turn around. "Creep."

Eric walks towards a peice of torn fabric lying under a load of shattered glass. "Do you have any idea who would have wanted to hurt or destroy your business, Mrs." Sargent Johnson pauses to give the restaurant manger time to answer . "Darling she coughs ." Sabrina Darling."

Hearing his name makes Eric turn around. His Sargent smirks "got a long lost sister? Eric notices a big smirk plastered on his face. "Hi ma'am." He puts his hand out to shake it hers. "Officer darling, I'm so sorry for your window." He turns back around to face it and releases his hand. "Do not feel bad." Sabrina says looking at Eric. "The man sat infront of the window causes a load of shit for us, claiming the window is too dark nobody can see out. When I do lighten it, apparently it's to see through." Sargent Johnson looks in the direction of the table.

"Which table does this recurring nightmare sit?" Eric watches as Sabrina points towards the same seat Steve Garcia was sat at last night. "Him and his daughter always sit right there." His heart starts to beat fast. So we know he is a complainer. "Is there any certain time they arrive or?" She shakes her head. "No, different times everyday."

"Hey partner." Amelia looks up and sees Eric walking towards her. "Partner?" She smirks. "You know.. me.. you." His hands run over her shoulders. "Officer Darling please release me from your grip." He gently takes his hands off her. "Are you ok?" Eric asks. "Just finishing up this report."

He stares at her. "Report for what?" He asks. "While I was training Detective Parker, he broke my paint gun." He scoffs. "That was useful because?" She lifts her eyes off her report. "I can not believe you are actually working with him.

Eric grabs a chair and sits next to her. "He is a useful person." Captain Martinez storms out of her office "officer mills please radio detective Parker, Steve has just contacted asking if Elizabeth would like to do an interview." Amelia stares at her Captain with confusion. Isn't Elizabeth meant to be a preschool teacher, why is she claiming she is now a babysitter. "Did I ask you to sit around and look stupid or did I ask for detective Parker." Her head gently turns towards Eric. "Contact Theo." She says before running into the office.

"Ma'am, I am so sorry but why did you not mention babysitting?" Her captain turns and looks at her. "Did I not tell you Elizabeth has a life changing career change." Amelia shakes her head. "To bad."

"Detective Parker, thank you for returning this evening." His eyes do not leave Amelia. "Problem Parker?" She asks. "I have multiple bruises a size of an orange. A smirk floats up her face.

Their captain clears her throat. "Elizabeth Taylor is being interviewed tomorrow for a baby sitting job." Why is Amelia always the one who has to do these. "Detective Parker will be stationed outside." The phone begins to ring. "You both are excused.

Amelia's heart starts to beat fast. Her palms become clammy. Using her left hand she swings the door open and storms into the girls changing room. To hopefully run away.

Putting on her shoes; a million thoughts fill her head. Drowning her from peacefulness. "Are you alright?" This voice startles Amelia. She stands up and looks around. She continues to look until her eyes set in her captain leaning against the locker.

"How are you feeling?" She asks watching Amelia as she ties her shoes. "Why do people always ask if I am ok every-time I storm out of a room, yes I am ok." Amelia bursts. Every emotion she has been feeling erupts.

Tears run down her face creating two rivers. Both flowing evenly on each side of her face. "Officer Mills if you want me to pull the plug on this case I will." The captain rushes over and holds her hand. "I did not feel any real emotion when I was kidnapped; all I felt was pain. I guess after seeing Eric look like that in a pool of blood brought back memories, I thought it never bothered me."

She looks up at her captain. "It is my fault he was kidnapped." Her eyes shoot down to her hands. "Amelia you cannot blame yourself for something you cannot control." Her captain says still holding her hands.
