"Derek, why is she here?" Genevieve asked as they walked to the hospitals entrance. "Chief called her for help with the TTTS case that was admitted last week" Derek said sighing.
"How are you doing?" Genevieve asked "I don't know. Meredith hasn't talked to me" Derek said "She'll come around, I'll see you later" Genevieve said making her way to the intern locker room.
Genevieve walked into the locker rooms, and she saw Alex applying ice to the black eye as Izzie checked his face, "No, lacerations, minimal swelling" Izzie said and Alex moved away from her.
"Damn, George really knocked you around" Genevieve said smirking as she changed into her scrubs "He's a lightweight. Could've pinned him in a second if I wanted" Alex said defending himself as Izzie and Genevieve gave each other a look.
"Yeah, so why didn't you?" Izzie asked moving her hands to her hips, "Are you kidding? I'm riding a career in Plastics all the way to the bank. Can't afford to injure these babies, especially over someone like O'Malley" Alex said lifting up his hands but Genevieve's mind got stuck in the word 'Plastics', come to think about it, she never answered his message.
"You had it coming" Izzie said and Alex rolled his eyes "The dude punches like my sister" Alex said and Izzie gave him a look, "Oh! So, by your definition, then you got beat up by a girl" Izzie said and looked at Genevieve who was lost in her thoughts.
"Gen, you okay?" Alex asked moving closer to Genevieve "Huh?" Genevieve asked looking at the two worried faces in front of her "I said are you okay" Alex said "Oh yeah" Genevieve said smiling and walking away. "That was weird" Izzie said.

"What happened? Why is joe here?" Genevieve asked "He fell" George said and walked away "All right details, you're pregnant? What are you gonna do?" Meredith asked Cristina making Genevieve gasp.
"Holy Shit, you're pregnant?" Genevieve asked "Look you guys know what happens with pregnant interns, I'm not switching to the Vagina Squad or spending my life popping zits. I'm too talented. Surgery is my life" Cristina said.
"Which begs the question" Meredith said "Who are you sleeping with?" Genevieve finished Meredith's sentence, "Just a guy" Cristina said shrugging "That's all we get?" Meredith said with a disappointed face.
"You can't just bring something like this up and except us to drop it" Genevieve said and Meredith nodded agreeing with her, "Well, Watch me" Cristina said walking away to where Izzie and George are standing at.
"What are you doing here? Were you with Mcdreamy?" Izzie asked "More like McMarried" George said and Meredith looked down, "Mer you have to give him a chance to explain himself." Genevieve said and Mer looked away.

Genevieve had to stay the night in the hospital since she got assigned to watch Joe in case something happened.
She was looking at Joe's Vitals when she felt a presence next to her, "Oh Hey" Genevieve said "hey, We need to talk" Addison said "Im not talking to you" Genevieve said "Then only listen to me, I just wanna explain myself" Addison said with a smile.
"Let's go to a more private place" Genevieve said and Addison nodded and walked away, Genevieve following behind.
They were in a conference room, "Derek and I were having problems before the whole thing went down. And I was alone and Mark came and it just happened" Addison said looking at Genevieve's face which was blank.
"And I know that Mark and you have something going on and-" Addison got interrupted "No, there's nothing going on with Mark and I" Genevieve said in a defensive tone which made Addison smirk.
"Look, I appreciate our friendship so much. So please can we be okay?" Addison said with a hopeful look in her eyes, Genevieve sighed and nodded slightly.

THE NEXT DAY
Genevieve was with Derek when he started talking to Burke about The Chief making him chief for a few days when Addison came.
"Sorry to interrupt Dr. Burke" Addison said smiling "you're never interrupting" Burke said "She's always interrupting" Derek said annoyed by Addisons presence.
"I was just checking to see if Dr. Burke secured the intern-"Addison began to say but got interrupted by Meredith which made Genevieve's eyes widen.
"Intern you requested? He did" Meredith said with a straight face "Oh you're evil" Genevieve whispered in Addisons ear as she smirked.

Genevieve got to go home a bit early since she stayed the night.
She took a shower and threw herself on her bed and in a few minutes she was asleep.
Genevieve woke up to her pager, she quickly got dressed and made her way to the hospital.

"What happened?" Genevieve asked Meredith as she sat down on the bed, "Burke is the man Cristina is sleeping with" Meredith said and Genevieve's eyes widened.
"Okay, that's crazy. But you paged me for that? I was sleeping" Genevieve said as Alex came in the hallway and sat next to Genevieve, "I just had to discuss it with someone, like why would she even mention it if she doesn't wanna talk about it?" Meredith said clearly "Can we talk about this later, please" Genevieve asked as she felt her eyes closing.
"Fine" Meredith said walking away, "Are you okay?" Alex asked "Just tired, do you mind if I fall asleep on your shoulder?" Genevieve asked looking at Alex who's cheeks were red.
"Sure, if you want you can put your head on my lap" Alex said and Genevieve nodded and she instantly fell asleep.
